Polish Pickup March 2023 Rainy Days: Noodles Nail Polish

 *press sample*

Hello hello! This week sort of flew by. My parents came and visited last weekend for the first time in almost a year. My dad has had some health issues that made him unable to travel (which is really hard for him because he loves to travel), so this was his first adventure in quite some time. Of course, time always flies by too quickly, but we had a great time. Can you believe it's March already? I sort of can because it has been in the 70s to 80s in North Carolina for the past couple weeks. Winter never really came this year. What about your neck of the woods?

This Friday Polish Pickup is upon us once again. Wishlisting is open, so you can browse at your leisure until it goes live on Friday, March 3rd. This month's theme is Rainy Days which is quite appropriate for March. I expect to see some beautiful blue and green polishes this month! Also make sure to join the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook Group as swatches pop up there all the time.

The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, March 3rd and ends on Monday, March 6th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which is rare) on the PPU website. Just a heads-up, PPU raised their base shipping rates from $3 to $4 for the lightest packages. USPS keeps raising their prices, so at some point it gets too high and brands cannot eat those prices forever. Let's get a closer look at this month's Noodles Nail Polish offering.

Noodles Nail Polish Roses and Raindrops (2 coats)
Inspiration: raindrops on pink roses
Price: $11.50
Bottle Limit: none

Yes, we got a blue this month! Roses and Raindrops is a bright sky blue crelly base with various shades of pink matte glitters and a touch of iridescent glitters in hexagonal shapes. I used 2 thicker coats for full opacity, but you may want 3 if you use really thin ones, or you have long nails with a strong visible nail line. I went for a glitter smoothing topcoat followed by a quick-dry topcoat for my swatches, but two coats of a regular topcoat can often smooth the glitters if you don't have the glitter grabber. If you want a quality glitter smoothing topcoat, check out the one from Glisten and Glow which you can buy during the PPU sale and not have to pay more for shipping through their site.

There you have it, folks! You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group
