Noodles Nail Polish Holiday 2024 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hello hello! Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers! I know it has been a hot minute since I've posted, but I've been busy with work this month. I'll actually be having Thanksgiving next week with my family instead of tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll still be watching the Macy's Parade and the dog show. Tonight I've got the Noodles Nail Polish Holiday Collection to share with you. It is a 6-piece collection of glitter and flakie goodness. Oh, and the NNP Black Friday sale starts at the same time! Here's what Natalie had to say about the sale:

Starts Friday, November 29th at 3 pm EST and ends Monday 11:59 PM EST.

30% off your entire purchase (excludes new holiday collection). No code necessary or minimum. Discount will be automatically applied at checkout.  Free shipping of $75 discount can also be used at checkout.

Stock is limited.  Some polishes I only have a few of, so if you have your eyes on any please shop as close to sale start as possible.  I cannot guarantee anything won't sell out or the time frame that it may.

There will be no restocks during the sale period.  If the new Holiday polishes sell out they will restock the weekend after the sale.  We will not have a free Black Friday mystery polish this year, but have upped our discount to make up for this.  As always thank you for picking Noodles this year.  You are the heart of my business!

The Holiday Collection will be released at the same time as the sale (Friday, November 29th) at 3 PM EST. Each polish will retail for $10.50 (remember, these are the only ones that will not be included in the sale). Shall we get to the swatches?

Polish Pickup October 2024 Natural Phenomenon with Noodles Nail Polish Snow Halo

 *press sample*

Hello hello! It's going to be a busy Noodles Nail Polish week as I will be sharing the Halloween duo later this week. I just got home from Dallas yesterday for work and I am so exhausted. Oh, and my parents went on a camping vacation and somehow got Covid! The worst of it is over, but they are still recovering day by day.

Tonight I've got the Noodles Nail Polish Polish Pickup shade to share with you. This month's inspiration is Natural Phenomenon, and after a quick look at this month's offerings, there are so many purples! Like, a lot. The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, October 4th and ends on Monday, October 7th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which can happen, but you have to be in the Facebook group for the notification) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish Snow Halo 1 coat (thumb, index, and thumb) over 2 coats Zoya Sia
Noodles Nail Polish Snow Halo (ring and pinkie) 3 coats only
Inspiration: a photo of a sun halo above a snowy forest
Price: $12
Bottle Limit: 200

We've got a glitter topper that can also be used as a regular nail polish in 3 coats! Snow Halo is a clear-based topper with white matte glitters, metallic light blue, orange/green iridescent glitter in a variety of hexagonal sizes, and a touch of red/copper/green shimmer finish. I've applied this over a vibrant blue, but I could see this working well with a variety of base colors. This one dries with lots of texture due to the glitter, so I recommend a glitter-smoothing topcoat for a glass-like finish.

Don't forget, this one does have a bottle limit, so if you're interested, don't wait too long to purchase. You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group

Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2024 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hi everyone! I need to apologize for the lack of posts lately. In mid-August we had to put our 19-year-old cat, Mr. Nose, down. It was devastating. We just lost our Clipsy cat at Christmas, so we are still raw from that. And honestly, September has been a blur so far. With the sad news out of the way, I have much more exciting things to share with you tonight. You all know Noodles Nail Polish's fall collections have always been a favorite of mine. Natalie really captures that fall feeling with her crellies. Tonight I've got swatches of the 6-piece collection that will be released this Saturday, September 21st at 5 PM EST on the Noodles website. Each polish will retail for just $10.50 each. Swatch time!

 *press samples*

Happy 4th of July to my American readers! There's nothing like a nice Spring Collection to show during the summer. Oops, I'm a little late on this one. Right now they have a deal going on where you can buy any 10 polishes from this page for just $25 with code July24 through July 7, 2024. This 6-piece collection features 3 of their glitter shades and 3 of their rich creams. Shall we get a closer look?

Polish Pickup May 2024 It Came from Outer Space: Noodles Nail Polish Zetus Lapetus

 *press sample*

New month, new Polish Pickup! I have two polishes this month, and I figured I'd just give them separate posts to give them their time in the spotlight. This month's theme is Outer Space and I'm loving it. My husband is more of the space nerd in the pair, but I'm still a fan of it. Wish listing started today, so get that cart ready!

The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, May 3rd and ends on Monday, May 6th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which can happen, but you have to be in the Facebook group for the notification) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish Zetus Lapetus (2 coats)
Inspiration: Xenon Girl of the 21st Century
Price: $12
Bottle Limit: 200 bottles

I think I'm just too old for this reference because I had to Google Xenon Girl of the 21st Century because I didn't know what it was. We ended up watching this clip of the girl repeating Zetus Lapetus over and over and it made us laugh. Since then, we've referenced it many times. Anyway, Zetus Lapetus the polish is a light blue crelly base with sapphire/raspberry/pink/purple glitter in various hexagonal shapes with holo silver flakes. I'm really living for the larger pink and purple glitters in this one. I found this one needed just 2 coats for full opacity, but it does dry with lots of texture due to all the glitters, so bust out that glitter smoothing topcoat.

Don't forget, this one does have a bottle limit, so if you're interested, don't wait too long to purchase. You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group

Tonight I've got the new Noodles Nail Polish Garden Collection to share with you. This is a 6-piece set which features crellies and glitter toppers. They will be available this Friday, April 26th at 6 PM EST on the Noodles Nail Polish website for $10.50 each.

As always, this is gonna be a picture-heavy post, so shall we get started?

January 2024 Little Box of Horrors: Naps and Nails Z-Z-Z-Zombies

 *press sample*

Hello hello! The third and final January box polish I have to share with you from Naps and Nails is for the Little Box of Horrors box. New to LBoH? It is a bi-monthly shop that is open at 12pm pacific time on the 18-30 during the months: January, March, May, September, November with a Re-animation TBA. Shipping starts on the 15th of the next month after the store closes. This month's theme is Zombies and the shop will open on January 18th and end on January 30th. Swatch time!

Cold State

Warm State

Naps and Nails Z-Z-Z-Zombies (2 coats) Transitioning
Inspiration: Paranorman
Price: $13
Bottle Limit: 100 bottles

I absolutely love this! Z-Z-Z-Zombies is a thermal flakie polish that transitions from green when warm to deep blue when cold with metallic pink/purple/blue flakes. The flakes go so well with the polish, and really adds depth to it. Swatches show 2 coats and it applied flawlessly. Even with the flakes, it only needed one coat of topcoat to smooth it all out. I love it!

You can find out more about the Little Box of Horrors box on their Facebook page. Make sure to set your alarms to pick this one up since it has a smaller bottle cap.

Polish Pickup January 2024 Deadly Plants: Noodles Nail Polish Deadly Delph

 *press sample*

Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season; mine was...tough. We lost our sweet almost 19 year-old Clipsy Cat a few days before Christmas. She was our first animal, and the boss of the house. It's so quiet without her around. All we can do is give all our love to our other 2 cats and dog.

On a much lighter note, I have this month's Polish Pickup shade from Noodles Nail Polish to share with you. This month's theme is Deadly Plants, and I'm a plant lover and can't wait to see what's in store.

The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, January 5th and ends on Monday, January 8th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which can happen, but you have to be in the Facebook group for the notification) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish Deadly Delph (3 coats)
Inspiration: the delphinium family of flowers
Price: $11.50
Bottle Limit: None

Just for reference, this is a delphinium:

Deadly Delph is a clear based polish with scattered holo, matte white/blue glitters, metallic blue/sapphire glitters, purple/blue/teal shifting UCC flakies, purple iridescent glitters, and a touch of holo microflakies. You can use this as a glitter topper with 1 thin coat, or use it as a full coverage polish in 3 thin coats. It applied perfectly, and it was very glitter dense. It will dry with lots of texture due to the glitter, so I recommend a glitter smoothing topcoat before applying a quick-dry topcoat for a glass-like finish. If you want your nails to really shine, this one is for you!

What do you plan on picking up this month? Start your wishlist now so you don't miss out on any capped items. You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group

Zoya November 2023 Color of the Month: Amaris

 *press sample*

Zoya Amaris (2 coats)

Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers! I wanted to get this post out as soon as possible, because Zoya has these limited editions that are their Color of the Month shades and I'm unsure how long it will be available. It may be December 1st, or it could be later in the month, but none of the other COTM shades are currently available, so there's that. This month we have Amaris, and it retails for $12 and you can get free shipping with code CTM77.

Ok, on to the polish: Amaris is a teal-leaning blue jelly base with loads of holographic hexagonal glitters. I thought it could be a 3-coater since it's a jelly, but I needed just 2 thicker coats for full opacity. It does dry with texture from all the glitters, so I recommend a glitter-smoothing topcoat followed by a QDTC, or at least 2 coats of a regular topcoat. What do you think of this month's shade?

You can find out more about Zoya on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. They often have sales, so check their social media pages periodically.
