Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2024 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hi everyone! I need to apologize for the lack of posts lately. In mid-August we had to put our 19-year-old cat, Mr. Nose, down. It was devastating. We just lost our Clipsy cat at Christmas, so we are still raw from that. And honestly, September has been a blur so far. With the sad news out of the way, I have much more exciting things to share with you tonight. You all know Noodles Nail Polish's fall collections have always been a favorite of mine. Natalie really captures that fall feeling with her crellies. Tonight I've got swatches of the 6-piece collection that will be released this Saturday, September 21st at 5 PM EST on the Noodles website. Each polish will retail for just $10.50 each. Swatch time!

Hello hello! It's that time of year that brands are busy coming up with their fall and Halloween collections which also means I've been busy swatching up a storm. The set will be available starting Friday, September 15th at 5 PM EST and each polish will retail for just $10.50 each. Shall we get a closer look at what Natalie came up with?

Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2022 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hello hello! I hope your week is off to a great start. I celebrated my husband's birthday this past weekend, but other than that, it's been quiet around here. Instead of a cake, he requested some rice crispy squares so we've been eating those for dessert and I'm ok with that. Tonight I have the newest collection from Noodles Nail Polish and it's an 8-piece set featuring crellies, a glitter topper, and a holo multichrome polish. Each polish will retail for $10 each, and they will be available this Friday, September 16th at 5 PM EST on the Noodles website.

As always, this is going to be a pic and text-heavy post, so we should get started.

Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2021 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend! I spent the time resting up since I traveled for the first time in a year and a half. Honestly things have been quiet around here otherwise. My husband teaches college, and he's been doing online classes exclusively since March 2020. Classes just started up again for the fall semester, and some of his colleagues have in-person classes now. I just want things to proceed as safely as possible. In case you didn't know, Natalie from Noodles Nail Polish is also an elementary school teacher, and I have no idea how she juggles it all. I think every teacher deserves the upmost respect and a huge raise for their hard work.

I know that fall happens to be Natalie's favorite season, so I'm always extra excited to see what she comes up with. This 8-piece collection is full of crellies, jellies, flakies, and toppers so there's something for everyone. This set will be available this Friday, September 10th (my husband's birthday! 🎉) at 5 PM EST. All polishes besides the glitter topper (Crushed Leaves) will retail for $10 each. I'll make sure to mention the price on each set of photos as well. You know this is going to be a long post, so we should get into it.

Noodles Nail Polish Fall Sightseeing Collection 2020 Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hi folks! I told you I'd be back tonight with the Noodles Nail Polish Fall Sightseeing Collection! Instead of the usually 6-piece set, Natalie gave us a collection with 8, all inspired by popular North Eastern towns to visit in the Fall. I'm gonna be totally honest with you: I've never been to any of these places 😬 I've been to lots of states in my day, but I've missed several states in the Northeast. I've heard that it's super popular for leafers in the fall. I lived in Knoxville, TN for about 5 years which is right next to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, so I got my leaf-seeing excursions there. The Fall Sightseeing Collection will be available tomorrow, September 25th at 5 PM EST and each polish will retail for just $9.50 each. Shall we get a closer look at them?

Zoya Sensual Fall 2019 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

I know, I am so behind on my Zoya swatches. Eep! The good news is that Zoya rarely discontinues their polishes, and these are all still available on their website. I'll be working on my backlog to get back up-to-date. Oh, and I looked EVERYWHERE for my bottle of Vesper, but it's gone forever. I sincerely apologize for this; please feel free to Google this shade to see if you'd like to buy it. It's a super pretty color, so I am going to purchase it during the next sale for completionist reasons. The Sensual Collection is a 12-piece set that features cremes and metallics that are perfect for any time of year, not just fall. As you guys know, Zoya collections are large, so this is going to be picture-heavy, so we need to get to swatches.

Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Falloween 2019 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! I just got back from Dallas where it was the same temperature and less humid than NC. I can't believe it's still 93 degrees here and it's almost October. I'm happy to report this is the last work travel for the year and I'm good with that. Tonight I have a brand I've never reviewed before, Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer. I have the 5-piece Falloween Collection to share with you tonight, and it features shimmers and multichrome shades which are some of my favorites. They are now available as a pre-order until September 9/30 at 11:59 PST.  They retail for $11.50 each, or as a discounted set for $55 which will save you a few bucks. Like most of my posts lately, it is quite picture-heavy, so should we get to some swatches?

Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2019 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! Apparently fall is in the air, but you'd never guess it from the hot days we've been having in NC. Yeah, nothing feels less like fall than 90 degree days. That said, new fall polish collections can really set the mood! Fall is Natalie from Noodles Nail Polish's favorite season, and it really shows. She has a little bit of everything for this collection: glitter toppers, flakies, holo, and glitter crellies (oh my!). Most collections consist of 6 polishes, but she went ahead and sneaked a 7th one in there just for us.

When: Friday, September 13th at 5 PM EST
Price: $9.50

This is an extremely picture-heavy post, so you may want to give it a little time to completely load. Without further ado, let's get to some swatches!

Zoya Fall 2018 Element Collection Swatches and Reviews: Part II

*press samples*

Hi guys! Happy Hump Day! It's been a pretty uneventful week so far, but I'm sure those will be few and far between as the holidays are right around the corner. As promised, I've got the final 6 polishes from the Zoya Element Collection. It's full of pinks and purples, and that's evident from the second set of colors. I'm working on the Winter Collection swatches right now, so those should be posted in a week or so. This post is pic heavy, so shall we get to it?

Noodles Nail Polish Falloween Customs: Fall Trails and Toil & Trouble

Hi guys! My parents are here! I haven't seen them since July so it's a well-needed visit. I think we're going to see Halloween, but other than that, I don't think we have any concrete plans. Tonight I've got another duo that is no longer available. I know, I'm so sorry! This was only available for a week, so I didn't have time to swatch these before they were gone forever. Natalie from Noodles Nail Polish made these for the newer Facebook Group Falloween Polish Lovers. If you are a fan of fall and/or Halloween, make sure to join this group (I'm definitely in there). Shall we get to some swatches?

Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2018 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! I can't believe it's Wednesday, and this 3-day weekend can't come fast enough. I don't have any plans besides rest up and catch up on some swatching. My husband and I are making our way through Parks & Rec, so we'll likely do a little binging of that on Netflix. Tonight I have a very special collection to share to you from Noodles Nail Polish. Fall is Natalie's favorite season, so she really pulls out all the stops here. The 6-piece set has 3 jellies, 2 glitter crellies, and a glitter topcoat that can also be used on its own. All polishes will be sold individually for $9.50 each with a release date of Sept.1st (yep, this Saturday) at noon EST. This post is extremely picture heavy, so we should get right into the reviews.

Mace Polish November 2017 Duo Swatches and Reviews: Crunchy Leaves and Frosty Leaves

Hi guys! I'm still trying to catch up on sleep since I've been home. The weather has been super weird around here as well. Yesterday it snowed, and today it was in the 50s. Apparently there's a chance for snow this weekend, too! How is the weather in your neck of the woods? Tonight I have a duo from Mace Polish to show you. They are no longer on Etsy, so make sure to stop by their BigCartel site. It just so happens that a new 7-piece Disney Collection is releasing tomorrow, so don't forget to check that out. I don't see the duo I'm showing tonight on the website, but there are lots of other flakie polishes that are just as pretty. Shall we settle in for some swatches?

OPI Fall 2016 Washington DC Collection Swatches and Review: Never a Dulles Moment

OPI Never a Dulles Moment (3 coats)

Hi guys! Man, I did not expect to have that hiatus last week. I was completely slammed at work and had 10+ hour days with a 2 hour commute each day. Today was still crazy, but not quite as bad. Please bear with me while I get back to normal. Tonight I have another one from OPI, this time from the Washington DC collection.

Never a Dulles Moment is a mustardy yellow creme. I've been to the Dulles Airport a few times in my day, but I don't have a ton of memories of it. I've mostly just gone there as a connection to another city. Like most yellow cremes, this one is a little on the streaky side. It evens out on the third  coat (or the second if you use thicker coats), but it it's not the best at self-leveling. This makes it sound like it didn't apply well, but that's not true. For a yellow, it applied well. I know this isn't a traditional color, but that makes me love it even more!

OPI polishes retail for $10.50 and you can find them at your local Sally's Beauty Supply and Ulta stores. Find out more information about OPI on their FacebookInstagram, and Twitter pages.

OPI Fall 2017 Iceland Collection Swatches and Review: Check Out the Old Geysirs

OPI Check Out the Old Geysirs (2 coats)

Hi guys! Mondays are so busy around here. We're trying to finish up our Christmas shopping so we can get our packages shipped in time for the 25th. And in case you haven't noticed, USPS is being super slow right now. I mean, even slower than usual. How are you guys doing?

Guess what, I'm finally reviewing an OPI polish! It seems like so long ago that they released a collection that I really needed. I mean, there's a pretty polish here and there, but nothing truly unique. One that recently caught my eye is from their newest collection which is inspired by Iceland. Check Out the Old Geysirs (oh, I've missed the punny OPI names) is a blue-grey with the most beautiful iridescent blue shimmer. The shimmer is subtle, but you can definitely see it. The formula was a bit thicker than I'd prefer, but it wasn't bad enough that I needed to bust out the thinner. Even with the thicker formula, it self-leveled well.

OPI polishes retail for $10.50 and you can find them at your local Sally's Beauty Supply and Ulta stores. Find out more information about OPI on their FacebookInstagram, and Twitter pages.

Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection Swatches and Reviews Part IV

*press samples*

Hi guys! I was so saddened to wake up to the news of Las Vegas. I would love to live in a world where it surprises me again. On a much lighter note, we'll be finishing up the Zoya Sophisticates collection. Just today I received the press info for their winter Party Girl Collection:

I see some really interesting polishes if you ask me. Also, didn't Zoya used to have 6 polishes in their winter collections? I'm not complaining! Shall we finish this collection first?

Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection Swatches and Reviews Part III

*press samples*

Hi guys! Sorry for the absence the last few days. I was fighting that allergic reaction for a few days, and last night I went and got the new iPhone 8 plus. I'm loving it so far! Tonight we're continuing the marathon that is the Zoya Sophisticates Collection. No more small talk, let's do this!

Zoya Fall 2017 Lipstick Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! Tonight I have swatches of the latest 7 Zoya lipsticks. There's a BOGO Free sale going on for the next few hours, so I wanted to get this out ASAP. Yup, you'll get 2 Zoya lipsticks for just $12 with free shipping on orders over $25 until midnight (EST) tonight! I was going to post these reviews with the lipsticks on my lips, but I happened to have an allergic reaction to something I ate so my lips are a swollen painful mess right now. I will mention that I've found all Zoya lipsticks to be moisturizing (even their matte finishes) and last around 3-5 hours depending on the color. Swatch time!

L-R Addie, Bristol, Izzy

Addie: a nude cream with some pink undertones. It was the lightest of the shades and was also one of the more pigmented colors.
Bristol: a medium wine cream. It looks more intimidating in the tube, but I think this will be a wearable color for the fall.
Izzy: an opaque fuchsia cream. It has a bit more red in it to my eye.

L-R Layne, Lucky, Maggie, Tommy

Layne: a dusty rose/mauve cream. This is my favorite from the collection and it was really pigmented.
Lucky: a bright, cool-toned pink cream. It's a fun burst of color for a fall set.
Maggie: a medium berry cream. Once applied it looks a little like Layne, but it's definitely more red.
Tommy: a deep blue/purple cream. Whoa, what an intense color! It's outside of their "normal" colors, but I'm glad to see they're looking outside the box.

Natural Light Shade (3 swipes of color)

Natural Light Direct Sunlight (3 swipes of color)

Well there you have it! I hope this gives you a chance to pick up any colors you're interested in before the sale goes away. These retail for $12, which is a fair price, but you can get these for $6 using the code ZLIP now. What do you think? You can find out more about Zoya and their lipsticks on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages.

*These lipsticks were provided by the company or PR representative. All reviews are based solely on my opinion. For more information, please see my full disclosure at the bottom of the site*

Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection Swatches and Reviews Part II

*press samples*

Hi guys! Not much is going on around here. I'm not traveling for a couple more weeks, and I'm super happy about that. Dancing With the Stars was good last night. Jordan and Lindsey seem to be the front-runners, but I'm rooting for Frankie Muniz. Tonight I'll be finishing up the first half of the Sophisticates collection from Zoya. Let's get to some swatches!

Morgan Taylor Fall 2016 Sweetheart Squadron Collection Swatches and Reviews: Rule the Runway and Up in the Air-Heart

*press sample*

Hi guys! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was pretty good. I went to the beautiful arboretum in Raleigh on Saturday for their yearly plant giveaway. I'm still not 100% sure of all the plants we got, but I know we got a couple butterfly bushes, an elephant ear, some hens and chicks, and sedum. Not too shabby overall. Since we had Nibs & Nails on Friday we were unable to finish up the final swatches of the Sweetheart Squadron collection, but that will change tonight. Follow me after the break to see what's in store.

Morgan Taylor Fall 2016 Sweetheart Squadron Collection Swatches and Reviews: Looking For a Wingman and Oh, Para-chute!

*press samples*

Hi guys! Long time, no post! I was traveling for work from Tuesday until today, and was unable to get a post up before I left. I had a great time at the Dallas Pen Show and even got to visit my in-laws (it had been way too long since I had seen them). I definitely need to have a new Nibs & Nails this week, so make sure to stay tuned later this week.

In the meantime, I have the fall collection from Morgan Taylor to share with you. I'm still trying to play catch-up from being away this weekend, so I have just 2 of them to show tonight. The Sweetheart Squadron is inspired by the the female pioneers in aviation. They don't mention any specific names, but I can imagine Amelia Earhart is one of them. Before I made this post, I looked up other important women in aviation, and I encourage you to do the same (I recommend the WAI website). Shall we get started?
