I know, I am so behind on my Zoya swatches. Eep! The good news is that Zoya rarely discontinues their polishes, and these are all still available on their website. I'll be working on my backlog to get back up-to-date. Oh, and I looked EVERYWHERE for my bottle of Vesper, but it's gone forever. I sincerely apologize for this; please feel free to Google this shade to see if you'd like to buy it. It's a super pretty color, so I am going to purchase it during the next sale for completionist reasons. The Sensual Collection is a 12-piece set that features cremes and metallics that are perfect for any time of year, not just fall. As you guys know, Zoya collections are large, so this is going to be picture-heavy, so we need to get to swatches.

Polish Pickup March 2019 Album Covers Swatches and Reviews
*press samples*
Hi guys! For some reason I keep thinking today's Wednesday. I guess I'm just really excited for the March Polish Pickup to begin. This month I was given 3 polishes for review, and I figured it'd be easier to go ahead and post all of them in 1 post than to divide them up into multiple days. Let me know if you like it this way better, or if you want me to break the posts up. This month's inspiration is Album Covers which is something I was really excited to see. Everyone loves music, and I was interested to see what albums I should be checking out. PPU start this Friday at 11:00 AM ET and goes through 11:59 PM ET Monday night. Let's go ahead and take a look at this month's offering.
Leesha's Lacquer Whatever (2 coats)
Inspiration: Whatever by Adore Delano
Price: $10
Cap: 100 bottles
Up first is a new brand to the blog and that's Leesha's Lacquer. This is Whatever which is a black base with tons of aurora shimmer that shifts between red/orange/green with UCC flakes. Yes, it is this shifty in real life. I know the aurora shimmer is quite expensive, so this one is a really good deal. Even though it's a black base, you can't tell because of the shimmer and flakes. I used 2 thicker coats for this one, but you may need 3 if you use thin ones. The formula was smooth, and it dried with no texture.
Noodles Nail Polish My Favorite Color is You (2 coats)
Inspiration: The Click by AJR
Price: $12
Cap: 125 bottles
I really like AJR! I haven't listened to the whole album, but my jam is "Burn the House Down" which I hear on SiriusXM's Alt Nation. Noodles Nail Polish's My Favorite Color is You is a blackened indigo crelly base with violet/gold shimmer, rainbow flakies, copper/aqua/lavender glitters, and violet/green/gold color shifting flakes. In other words, this is full of rainbow glitter and flakies. I used 2 normal coats for my photos, and it applied easily. The glitter gives the polish some texture, so make sure to use a thicker topcoat to smooth it all out.
Static Lacquer On Letting Go (2 coats)
Inspiration: On Letting Go by Circa Survive
Price: $12
Cap: 100 bottles (10 bottles for UK)
Static Lacquer's shade On Letting Go is a medium dusty blue base with teal shimmer, silver holographic flakes, and green to magenta UCC flakes. The queen of the holographic flakes strikes again! This one also applied flawlessly in just 2 coats and dried with no texture.
All 3 of these are vastly different, and I love them all. One thing they have in common is flakies, and you know my feelings on those. The site goes live on March 1st and goes through March 4th, so you do have a few days to get your orders in. All of these have caps, so if you're interested in any of them, I wouldn't delay purchasing them just in case. You can learn more about PPU on their Facebook page and website.

KBShimmer Office Space Collection Swatches and Review: Staple Relationship
KBShimmer Staple Relationship (2 coats)
Hi guys! How was your weekend? Mine was good. I didn't sleep as much as I'd like, but what else is new? Tonight I'm watching Bachelor in Paradise and I can't wait to see that mess. Please tell me I'm not the only one watching tonight. Anyway, I have one final polish from KBShimmer to show you and it's from the Office Space collection which features interesting "work appropriate" colors.
Poor Milton. I can't watch Office Space without feeling bad for Milton. Staple Relationship is a deep charcoal base with silver and blue/pink flakes and holographic glitter. You can especially see the bluish flakes in the bottom photo. The finish is similar to those from the Birthstone Collection which really appeals to me. For some reason I didn't get a photo showing the holo finish, but it's there and it's strong. It applied well in 2 coats, but the removal was a bit difficult with the glitter (and the flakes tended to stick to the sides of my nails). No problem, I just went ahead and used a peel-off basecoat to make it a breeze.

Right on the Nail ~ Julep Maven Nail Polish Reviews and Swatches
Hi guys! Scraggles (my little terrier mix) has been feeling under the weather today so I had to take her to the vet. She should be fine, but they had to give her fluids, an anti-vomiting shot, and some antibiotics for her GI tract. Keep her in your thoughts. On a lighter note, I have a ton of old Julep nail polishes to review. You will notice several different nail lengths mostly due to these being applied at various times...I hope you don't mind. Come with me after the break to see what I have in store tonight.

Right on the Nail ~ Morgan Taylor Swatches and Review: Time to Shine
Morgan Taylor Time to Shine (3 coats)
Guess what? This is the first time that I reviewed a polish twice without knowing it until I was going to put it on the blog. Would you guys mind if I show this one again? Now you can have 6 pictures (albeit 3 with shorter nails) instead of only 3! Time to Shine comes from the Morgan Taylor Fall 2013 collection and features a deep silver or charcoal glitter in a clear base. Instead of being a glitter topcoat, Time to Shine is opaque on its own in 3 coats. The formula and application was actually pretty great, but make sure to use a glitter peel-off base or use the foil method to remove the polish since it is a glitter. It's a lovely color for sure!
I'm happy to report that you can now buy Morgan Taylor polishes online without a license from Loxa Beauty for $8.50 each. You can keep up with Morgan Taylor on their Facebook and Twitter pages as well.

Happy Halloween Manicure with SinfulColors Black Magic and Skulls
SinfulColors Black Magic (1 coat) over 1 coat Jessica Cosmetics Velvet & Pearls
Happy Halloween! Since we finally have a house, we're hoping to have trick-or-treaters tonight! If not, more candy for us. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you may have seen my picture of these rhinestone skulls I got from my local nail supply store. Of course I had to wear it for my Halloween manicure. Here I am showing SinfulColors Black Magic over Jessica Cosmetics's Velvet & Pearls. Black Magic was quite sheer and I found it to be a better charcoal grey and orange glitter topcoat over my new favorite black. Sorry I put the skull in the direction I did. I put it so that I would be able to see it all day without thinking about the blog. Hopefully the first picture puts it into perspective. Please have a happy and safe night, and make sure to do the Monster Mash and eat some candy!

Sally Hansen Magnetic Polishes: Graphite Gravity
Sally Hansen Graphite Gravity (2 coats)
Hi everyone, I hope your weekend is going well, now we know there is no apocalypse! I had dinner with my immediate family which was really nice (and it was pizza Friday!). Do you have any fun plans?
Graphite Gravity is the last magnetic polish I have to show you and it's a darkened charcoal grey color. There are 2 different grey polishes in the collection (the other being Silver Elements) which I think is a little overkill for 1 collection. I think if I had to choose between this one and Silver Elements, I would choose Silver Elements because it has that shimmer I love.
Overall, this is a nice magnetic polish collection, but by no means do you need to buy all of them. My picks would be the polishes with the shimmer in them, as well as Red-y Response.

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Polish: Silver Elements
Sally Hansen Silver Elements (2 coats)
Happy Sunday! I'm headed for Knoxville to do some lab work in my old lab and it's going to be a long day of driving. What did you do this weekend?
The next Sally Hansen magnetic polish is likely my favorite one called Silver Elements that has that dark shimmer in the design which I love. Without the magnet, the polish looks like a regular old silver foil; It was such a pleasant surprise to find how it would look with the design. The formula and application is the same as the rest of them. If you have any questions, go ahead and look back a few days and it should be answered there.

Pure Ice Polish in Electric!
Pure Ice Electric! (2 coats)
Wow, today was so hectic! I didn't even get to eat lunch until 3 o'clock. I find that my productivity decreases exponentially the closer to Friday it gets, hence me being so busy on Mondays.
I have a Pure Ice polish to show you today called Electric! which is a black color with lots of charcoal shimmer. I'm not a huge fan of straight black polishes, but I love when they have a little something extra, just as this dark grey shimmer. The formula was just right and only needed 2 coats. You can find this little gem at your local Walmart store for around $2.
