Noodles Nail Polish Winter and Valentine's Day 2018 Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! Tonight I have 2 collections from Noodles Nail Polish that are being released this Friday, January 2nd at 6 PM EST. I had the chance to try one of Natalie's polishes a few months back when she was the guest spot in the For the Love of Polish box. I don't think I reviewed it here on the blog, but that's just because the polish was exclusive to the box and no longer available. When I was asked if I was interested in reviewing more polishes, of course I jumped at the chance. The first collection is a 6-piece winter set, while the second is a Valentine's Day trio. These will be available individually, or as a 9-piece set with special pricing ($80). All polishes except for Bundled Up (the holo one-$10) will retail for $9.50 apiece. This is a long post with lots of pictures, so let's settle in.

Oh, and a congratulations is in order for Noodles Nail Polish because they were voted the #3 top brand for crelly polishes from the Indie Swatch Awards.

TL;DR I love these polishes.

Zoya Winter 2017 Party Girls Collection Swatches and Reviews: Part I

*press samples*

Hi guys! So everyone has the flu. Well, I'm still going strong, but that's pretty much it. Is it going around near you? Tonight I'm finally going back to review the Winter 2017 Collection from Zoya. It's a 12-piece set with cremes, jellies, duochromes, and shimmers oh my! I love when there's a little bit of something for everyone. Remember when I said that I broke a nail and had to cut my nails down mid-collection? It was this one and half of the swatches will be with long nails, and the other half with nubs. Sorry! Hit that button below to see some pretty polishes.

Polish 'M 4th of July Duo Swatches and Review: Diamonds in the Sky

Polish 'M Diamonds in the Sky (2 coats)

Hi guys! I hope your weekend went well. Everyone around me seems to be sick right now, so I've been lucky to not catch it. I caught something back in November, so maybe that was my cold for this winter? If I could only be so lucky. Tonight I have a color from Polish 'M which is from their 4th of July duo, but it's appropriate for any time of year, really.

Diamonds in the Sky is a black base with tons of ultra chameleon chrome flakes, silver holo flakes, and silver holo microglitter. Michelle doesn't often make flakie polishes, but when she does, she knocks it out of the park! I used 2 coats for the photos above, and the formula was just fantastic. It dried with a bit of texture, so make sure to use a thicker topcoat. You'll also need an extra few minutes to remove it, but it's totally worth it.

This one is still available for purchase, and retails for $10. Michelle periodically has sales, so make sure to follow her on social media for up-to-date information. You can find Polish 'M on their storefrontFacebookInstagram, and Facebook Group pages.

Polished For Days 2017 Reindeer Games Collection Holiday Charity Polish: Cupid

Polished For Days Cupid (3 coats)

Hi guys! I spent the past 4 days in Philadelphia. The day we got in it was a balmy 61 degrees. The next day it was pouring down rain and getting colder by the hour. Nothing exciting happened...I spent the whole time working and sleeping. Scraggles has the best dog-sitter and she absolutely adores the daughter. Apparently they would play all evening and Scraggles would sleep in the bed with her. It's all very sweet.

Tonight I have the annual charity polish from Polished For Days. Each polish sold will get $7 towards Angel Warriors for Kids. It's technically a part of the Reindeer Games Collection, but I just bought it as a stand-alone polish. It's a red flakie polish with a subtle mix of green flakes in there with a silver holo flake finish. It's basically a flakie bomb! The red and silver together gives it an almost pink hue at times, which I'm 100% ok with. You could get away with 2 coats, but I did a third because macro photos tend to show every tiny bald spot. It applied easily and had no texture after a coat of topcoat. Removal took a little extra elbow grease, but nothing like a glitter polish.

This one is a beauty, and I love that the proceeds go towards a great charity. I've never been disappointed with any Polished For Days colors, so please consider giving them a shot. Their monthly box (For the Love of Polish) has a new brand taking over for Illyrian Polish. Surprise, it's Shannon from Pahlish! I've been using and loving Pahlish for many years, so this is going to make me go broke! Cupid retails for $12 and it's available now on the PFD website.

Zoya 2017 Kisses Pastel Jellies Trio Swatches and Reviews and 2018 Mystery Box Info

*press samples*

Hi guys! You might be wondering why I have the newest Zoya trio before their holiday Party Girls Collection. Well, it's coming, but midway through swatching it I got a really bad break and had to cut all my nails down. I'm trying to decide whether I want to reswatch the whole collection (12 polishes), or just show them as-is. Any opinions? Please leave a comment to let me know. The Kisses Pastel Jellies set is for sale now and features 3 jellies that are buildable based on the number of coats you use. You can use them on their own, make a jelly sandwich with a glitter polish, or add a shimmer top coat to it. These are available individually for $10, or you can purchase it as a trio ($30) or a quad ($40) with the shimmer topper, Leia. Shall we get a closer look?

Quixotic Polish Happy New Years Duo 2018 Swatches and Reviews

Hi guys! Did I even wish everyone a Happy New Year in my past post? I was in such a hurry to explain where I've been the past few weeks that I was forgot common decency! I have 2 New Year duos to show you, and the first set comes from Quixotic Polish. I've been showing Mary's colors a lot the past few months, and that's because I've been so smitten with them. She recently revamped her brand so you'll see a new logo and bottle shape here. Shall we take a look at her newest offerings?

Polished For Days Winter 2017 Reindeer Games Collection Swatches & Review: Vixen

Polished For Days Vixen (2 coats)

Hi guys! It's been so long! I took a well-needed break to visit family in Maryland, and then my family came to visit NC for New Years. I'm just now coming up for air, but I had a great one. I'm going to start off a little slow to get back into things, but I have some larger collections coming up soon. I've been a huge fan of Polished For Days and often buy their monthly For the Love of Polish Box that always features PFD and Illyrian and 1 rotating position. When I saw the first swatches on Instagram of the Reindeer Games Collection, I knew I had to get some. Unfortunately, I only have 1 so far, but I hope to remedy that in the coming months. Yes, they're that beautiful.

Vixen is a deep berry red base with lots of red and green iridescent flakes and silver holo flakes. Basically it's a flakie party! I was worried that the green would be too subtle, but that didn't happen at all. The green really stood out well against the deep base. I've worn this a few times already, and I'm not ready to put it in the abyss that is the Helmer. As you can see, this is right after I cut my nails down. They've grown out a bit, but it will still be awhile before I get back to my long nails. The formula was perfect in just 2 coats.

I cannot recommend this one more. I'm even considering a backup which is unheard of for me. It retails for $12 and it's available now on the PFD website.
