Polish Pickup Scary Vibes September 2022 from Noodles Nail Polish: It's Fricken Bats

 *press sample*

Hi everyone! I spent the last weekend traveling to San Francisco for work, and, as usual, it was a beautiful mid-70s with not a cloud in the sky. I can't imagine living in a place without true seasons, but maybe I could learn to enjoy it. I've spent this week working and trying to catch back up on sleep. This month's theme is Scary Vibes, which is perfect timing for some upcoming Halloween manicures. Despite this being a pre-order, you should get your items in plenty of time (unless you are international). The shop is up for wishlisting, so let the shopping commence!

The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET this Friday, September 2nd and ends on Monday, August 5th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which is rare) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish It's Freakin Bats (2 coats)
Inspiration: a haunted house at dusk
Price: $11.50
Bottle Limit: None

Bats are cool. I love watching What We Do in the Shadows and they yell "BAT!" and turn into a bat. It's Freakin Bats is a deep violet jelly base that leans a bit crelly with matte and holo black glitters, orange iridescent glitters, and orange holo glitters in hexagonal shapes. Just look at those iridescent glitters! They really glow on the nails. The formula was perfect in 2 coats, and I used regular strokes followed by dabbing motions for placing the glitters on the nail. It does dry with texture from the larger glitters, so I recommend a glitter topcoat followed by a quick-dry topcoat, or 2 coats of a thicker topcoat to smooth it all out.

I'm heading out now to shop and add to my wishlist. What will you be picking up?

Noodles Nail Polish Summer 2022 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hello everyone! Whew, I had a long weekend. Trade shows for work are back in full swing, so I had to travel to DC for one of the largest fountain pen shows in the country. We were so busy, and I've been working 11 days straight. So time really snuck up on me because I totally thought this collection released next Friday instead of this Friday...oops! While this is late for me, I'm glad to get this up before they go live on Friday, August 12th at 5 PM EST on the Noodles Nail Polish website. This collection has it all *said in the famous Stefon voice....if you know, you know).

It's got glitter, it's got flakies, it's got crelly finishes, it's got jelly finishes, it's got toppers. All polishes will retail for $10 each as well. Time for swatches!

Polish Pickup August 2022 Marine Magic from Noodles Nail Polish: Just a Lil' Jelly Swatches and Review

*press sample*

Hello hello! Can you believe Polish Pickup is back? It actually feels due since last month was a rewind and we didn't have any new polishes. This month's theme is Marine Magic, so I expect some wild color combinations. The shop is up for wishlisting, so let the shopping commence!

The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET this Friday, August 5th and ends on Monday, August 8th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which is rare) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish Just a Lil' Jelly (3 coats)
Inspiration: a photo of a turquoise and pink jellyfish
Price: $11.50
Bottle Limit: None

Fun fact: I love jellyfish. You take me to an aquarium, and I'll be staring at them for as long as possible. There's just something so mesmerizing about undulating jellyfish. Just a Lil' Jelly is described as a deep turquoise crelly base with neon pink/turquoise glitters, pink holo glitters, and violet/red/orange/gold color shifting flakies. To my eye, the base looks more of a deep teal than turquoise. I ended up using 3 thin coats for my photos, and it dries with texture from the glitters. I recommend a glitter topcoat followed by a layer of quick-dry topcoat to smooth it all out, but you may be able to get away with 2 coats of regular topcoat for a smooth finish. The pink really pops in this one, and I love it!

There you have it, folks! I have my wishlist ready to go, and is it way too long. Oops! If any item has a bottle limit, you may want to check out right at 11 AM on Friday so they don't sell out.  What do you think? Which ones will you be picking up this month?
