Polish Pickup May 2020 Candy Land Swatches and Reviews

Hi guys! I hope you guys are staying healthy mentally and physically right now. I haven't been sleeping well, but I'm fortunate that's my only issue at the moment. Tonight I've got 3 polishes and one IPU product to share with you for this month's PPU. This month's theme is Candy Land (more candy in general than the game, but some makers did use Candy Land the game for inspiration) and I must confess, I LOVE candy. Like, love it. My biggest indulgence is sour and gummy candy. New to PPU? If so, here's how it works:

Definitely join the Polish Pickup Facebook Group. You don't necessarily need to actively participate in the group, but it will give you a look at the polishes that will be available in the coming month. PPU themes are chosen by the people, often a few months in advance (brands need time to find their inspiration and test their polish). Any indie brand that has been around for at least a year can participate and each has their own specific inspiration picture and polish for that month. All you need to do is go to the Polish Pickup site during the pre-order window (the first Friday-Monday of the month) to make all of your purchases of these exclusive polishes. There's no need to pay for multiple shipping charges; since this is a pre-order, all polishes get sent to Polish Pickup and they send you the polishes you ordered. Yup, it's that simple. Oh, and shipping is a flat-rate of $3 to the US (more for international and they just had to increase the pricing to Canada). Recently they also opened a UK site which you can find here. Since all orders are pre-orders, shipping will take place about 3 weeks after the end of the pre-order.

PPU starts Friday, May 1st at 11:00 AM ET and ends on Monday, May 4th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a cap and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which is rare) on the PPU website.

Noodles & Heart Mother's Day Duo 2020 Swatches and Reviews

Just a little PSA, Mother's Day is coming up on Sunday, May 10th. With the state of the world and shipping lagging behind right now, I've already decided what I'm getting my mom just to make sure it arrives in time. Good news, Natalie from Noodles Nail Polish teamed up with Taryn from Anchor & Heart Lacquer for a special Mother's Day duo pre-order. The pre-order will begin this Friday at 5 PM EST with the release of the Noodles Spring Collection and will continue through Monday, April 27th at 5 PM EST on the Noodles Nail Polish website. This will only be available through the Noodles site, and not through Anchor & Heart. All pre-orders will ship by Monday, May 4th which should definitely arrive before the big day. These are only available as a duo and will be $20 + shipping. 

If you plan on purchasing the duo with other shades during the Spring Collection launch, please take note of some information I was given from Natalie:

**If you purchase any other polishes with the duo, they will ship with the duo. If you prefer they ship immediately, please place 2 separate orders. If you use the free shipping code for orders over $75 and purchase the duo please note that I can't separate those orders into 2 shipments, and they will only be able to go out as 1 shipment. **

Hi guys! How have you been holding up? I've been holding up ok so far. My birthday was last weekend, and I was so sad I wasn't able to be with any family. I can safely say I'll always remember this birthday. Please take care of yourself, and reach out to me if you need anything. Tonight I have the new spring collection from Noodles Nail Polish releasing this Friday, April 24th at 5 PM EST on the Noodles website. All but one polish (Rain Dance which will be $10) will retail for just $9.50. It's a 6-piece crelly set with an additional throwback shade that has been updated for a total of 7. Oh, and did I forget to mention there's a special Mother's Day duo also releasing on Friday with special guest Anchor & Heart Lacquer? No worries, I will be making that a separate post so that this post doesn't get ridiculously long (which I'm sure it will already be, am I right?). Shall we go ahead and get to the beautiful swatches?
