Right on the Nail ~ Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel Swatches and Review: Autumn Spice

Revlon Autumn Spice (2 coats)

Is Revlon getting rid of their Parfumerie collection? I ask because I found most of them on sale at my local Walgreens recently. So you know that I ended up buying all of the discounted polishes...because why not? I've reviewed a few of the Parfumerie polishes previously, and to refresh your memory, these are scented polishes. I'm not normally a huge fan of scents on the nails because it can sometimes give me a headache. Luckily, Autumn Spice gave me no issues in terms of application or headache-inducing scent. It's a beautiful bronzy brown color with red and gold/copper glass flecks. It's a bit darker than other colors I've been wearing recently, but it's a nice change, for sure.

Right on the Nail ~ Zoya Spring 2014 Awaken Collection Swatches and Review: Rebel

Zoya Rebel (3 coats)

In case you didn't know, Zoya is having a BOGO sale until tonight. If you haven't gotten an order in, make sure to do so before midnight EST. Use code SUP for up to 4 free polishes.

If you're going to use the code, make sure to check out my Zoya tag for all of my swatches to help you choose. Tonight I have Rebel which I'm sure is named after actress Rebel Wilson. Oh, have I said how excited I am about Pitch Perfect 2? I love Anna Kendrick! Anyway, Rebel is a lovely blue with blue shimmer. It gave me a bit of lobster hands, but that's how it goes with blues. The formula was exactly like Dillon which is to say that it was just ok in 3 coats. Are you ready for the work week to start? I'm definitely not!

Right on the Nail ~ Zoya Spring 2014 Awaken Collection Swatches and Review: Dillon

Zoya Dillon (3 coats)

Happy Saturday! I went to Raleigh this weekend for a plant sale put on by the horticulture group. Yeah, we always end up getting way too many plants. Oops! Also, I hope your brackets have been going well...all 4 teams I have going to the Final 4 are still in it.

Tonight I have another spring polish from Zoya in their Awaken Collection. Dillon is a mint green with gold and blue shimmer. There is a true blue shimmer in this collection that I'll show tomorrow. The formula wasn't the best for a Zoya to be honest. I was expecting it to be more pigmented, but it still needed 3 coats to cover the nail line. I hope you have a great night!

Right on the Nail ~ Zoya Spring 2014 Awaken Collection Swatches and Review: Cole

Zoya Cole (3 coats)

I have a new camera! It just so happens to be the same camera that Max from Catfish has. I will need some time to get used to it, so please bear with me while I make the transition. Oh, and go Wisconsin tonight! I have them winning the whole thing.

I never bought any of the spring Zoya polishes last year, so when they had the get 3 for $16 and 3 free mini bottles a few months ago I picked some up to wear this year. Cole is an orange creme with some peachy undertones. I love the color, but the formula had much to be desired. It was streaky and thick while still needing 3 coats. I feel that OPI has had a few awesome orange cremes recently (such as Where Did Suzi's Man-go?), so I might recommend one of those instead.

Right on the Nail ~ LynBDesigns The Doctor Is In Collection Swatches and Review: Time and Relative Dimension in Space (TARDIS!)

LynBDesigns Time and Relative Dimension in Space (3 coats)

Hi guys! Who isn't a huge Doctor Who fan? I was a bigger fan back in the day during the Tennant days, but that's just me. I really like LynBDesigns on Etsy, especially since she has sales quite often. Tonight I have Tardis which is a deep blue jelly with silver, blue, navy and charcoal square glitter. The glitter looks really interesting suspended in the jelly, doesn't it? Tardis is quite pigmented, but looks best with 3 coats to get some great layered glitter. You can get this right now for only $8!

Right on the Nail ~ butter London Swatches and Review: Sunbaked

butter London Sunbaker (2 coats)

Hi guys! I hope the start of your week has been flawless. Sorry for not posting last night. I don't really have a good excuse except that I was watching March Madness. No worries, I can't use that excuse again until Thursday! Oh, and I have a winner of my giveaway. Congratulations to Sara F.!

Tonight I have a surprising summer color from butter London. I say surprising because I don't expect a burnt orange metallic shimmer like Sunbaked for a summer collection. Perhaps fall, not summer. Anyway, I still think it's beautiful! Is it worth $15? No, I don't think so (that's why I got it for less than $10 at Ulta!). This is just 2 easy peasy coats.

Right on the Nail ~ LeChat Dare To Wear Swatches and Review: Kiss the Rain

Dare to Wear Kiss the Rain (3 coats)

Don't forget, my giveaway ends soon, so get your entries in! Over the past year I've become a huge fan of LeChat Dare to Wear polishes. They are also very popular for their gels, but I don't often wear those...so many polishes and so little time! While I was in my local nail supply store, I noticed a few polishes with a scattered holographic finish. Yup, a brand with a holographic finish from a larger company. Did I mention that these were only $2.50? Woot! Transdesign also has them and will only set you back $3. Kiss the Rain is a light blue with grey undertones. The formula was a bit thin and needed 3 coats. This is totally worth it if you can find it!

In other good news, I may be getting a new camera. That will probably mean a new learning curve in terms of my swatches. Hopefully they will just keep getting bigger and better! Happy Saturday!

Right on the Nail ~ Rainbow Honey Swatches and Review: Control

Rainbow Honey Control (2 coats)

So fess up, how many of you already have your brackets for March Madness completely messed up? I think I'm ok so far, but there are definitely some upsets that I missed!

Tonight I have a Rainbow Honey polish from the Summer Mixed Tape Collection called Control. It's a bright fuchsia with tons of purple/pink microflakes. Usually I have to use 3 coats for Rainbow Honey polishes, but this one was extremely opaque in just 2. I found the formula to be a bit thick, but I'm used to that with the brand. Just remember, it's almost Friday! Oh, and don't forget about my giveaway that ends this weekend.

Right on the Nail ~ Formula X for Sephora Swatches and Review: Drawn to You

Formula X for Sephora Drawn to You (3 coats)

Oops, I didn't post a polish yesterday for St. Patrick's Day! I hope you're ok with me showing the polish I wore for it. This is my first time trying the Formula X for Sephora brand. I loved the Sephora by OPI polishes, but apparently Sephora got greedy and wanted to make their own money by charging a bit more (these run $10.50-12.50). I ended up getting Drawn to You at the Sephora in the JC Penny for around $5, so it was a great deal! It's a gorgeous silver shimmer base with tons of gold shimmer and different sizes of emerald hexagonal glitter. This is definitely a bit sheer, and needs to be slowly built up to (mostly) full opacity in 3 coats. I had no issues with the application though. I love this one, but I would only spend the retail price for a special polish.

Right on the Nail ~ Chloe & Bella Swatches and Review: Dragon's Skin

Chloe & Bella Dragon's Skin (3 coats)

*press sample*

Hi guys! Tonight is the night that Dancing with the Stars comes back! Am I embarrassed to say that I watch crappy reality tv? Yes, a little bit, but it at least it entertains me for a few hours. Anyone have predictions for this season?

Tonight I have an absolutely gorgeous polish from Chloe & Bella called Dragon's Skin. It's one of those awesome ultra chrome flakie polishes that shifts from green, gold, copper and purple. It's basically a party in a bottle. Unlike glitters, flakie polishes dry to an untextured finish with topcoat and isn't a pain to take off. I used 3 easy coats for the swatches above. Dragon's Skin will set you back $11.95, but it's totally worth it. You can also check out Chloe & Bella's spring collection which consists of 3 matching creme and glitter combinations.

For more information, you can find them on their PinterestInstagramTwitter, and Facebook pages, respectively.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Spring 2015 Citrus Twist and Opalescent Topper Collections: Horizon Shine and Prized Plume

*press samples*

Hello beautiful! Tonight I have the final 2 spring polishes from SinfulColors. Each come from a different collection: Horizon Shine comes from the Citrus Twist Topper collection and Prized Plume comes from the Opalescent Topper collection. Each collection contains a total of 3 new polishes and I have 1 from each. Even though these are called toppers, you can get these both to be opaque on their own.

SinfulColors Horizon Shine (3 coats)

I sort of wish I got 2 of the Citrus Twist colors because they are beautiful glass-flecked polishes. Horizon Shine is a bright red with orange, pink and gold glass flecks. I love it! This one was more pigmented than Prized Plune and completely covered in 3 easy coats. Definitely pick this one up!

SinfulColors Prized Plume (3 coats)

Prized Plume can sometimes look straight up blue, but in others can appear more teal. I guess you could call it a peacock blue. It has an opalescent shimmer finish that would probably work best layered. It was hard to get the tips of my nails to completely cover. As you can see, it's a bit sheer on its own, but 3 thin coats is fine. Make sure to make the layers thin because you can get some bubbling if you don't.

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Spring 2015 Bloomblast Glitter Collection Swatches and Reviews: Petal Be the Day

SinfulColors Petal Be the Day (2 coats) over 1 coat China Glaze What a Pansy

*press sample*

Tonight I have the last polish from the SinfulColors BloomBlast Collection called Petal Be the Day. Of course the first thing I thought of was That'll Be the Day from Buddy Holly & the Crickets (RIP Buddy Holly). I thought that Petal Be the Day would be like the other 2 colors from the BloomBlast collection...but no. The base pretty much has no color at all. I ended up using China Glaze's What a Pansy as a base to give that dusty periwinkle color with royal blue and purple glitter. I wish the base had more pigment, so I would have to recommend Flower Power and Standing Bloom Only over Petal Be the Day. TGIF!

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ SinfulColors Spring 2015 Bloomblast Glitter Collection Swatches and Reviews: Flower Power and Standing Bloom Only

*press samples*

Hump Day! I hope your week is going well (and fast). SinfulColors has 3-4 collections out for for this spring. They have the regular spring collection, the Opalescent Trend Toppers, the Citrus Twist Toppers, and the Bloomblast Glitter collection. Tonight I have the 2 of the 3 Bloomblast Glitter polishes. These clearly are all glitters, but each one has a different finish. You'll see!

SinfulColors Flower Power (3 coats)

Up first is Flower Power which is a baby pink jelly with magenta and white glitters. Going in, I didn't know if these would be opaque on their own, but 2 out of the 3 are. Flower Power has no underwear in the above swatches and covers completely in 3 coats. This reminds me of some colors you can see from some indie brands, so congrats to SinfulColors on trying something a bit different. Surprisingly, I had no issues with it being too thick or anything.

SinfulColors Standing Bloom Only (3 coats)

Standing Bloom Only is a deep mango orange creme with fuchsia glitter. This one is also opaque in 3 coats, but looks less jelly-like than Flower Power. I love this combination of colors together!

You can find this collection now at your local Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers for only $1.99. Make sure to look for sales that only make them $0.99. Also check out SinfulColors on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

Right on the Nail ~ Bellaluna Cosmetics Spring 2015 Dreams Come True Collection Swatch and Review: Once Upon a Dream

*press samples*

Bellaluna Cosmetics Once Upon a Dream (2 coats) over 1 coat of pink

Hola! I hope this beautiful weather has reached you. Today and tomorrow it's supposed to be over 70. No more winter, please!

I have another polish from Bellaluna Cosmetics' Dreams Come True collection called Once Upon a Dream which is a bright pink with a strong blue shimmer. Very strong. I love it! The only thing I didn't love is the coverage. I can't for the life of me remember what pink I used as underwear, (sorry, I'm usually better at remembering!) because it was just too sheer on its own. You could probably get away with 3-4 coats, but I like it this way better. Despite it being sheer, I had no problems with the application.

You can find Bellaluna Cosmetics polishes on their Etsy store for $4 for a 5 mL mini or $8.50 for a full-sized 15 mL bottle. Right now they also have some stunning St. Patrick's Day polishes for sale as well. Make sure to learn more on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Enjoy!
