Right on the Nail's 6 Year Blog Anniversary with Polish 'M, Bellaluna Cosmetics, and Lou it Yourself
Dear readers, can you believe it has been over 6 years since I started blogging? I believe my first day was August 1, 2009 (please don't look at those swatches though...they were terrible). Some days it feels like longer than 6 years, but some days it feels like yesterday. One thing that stays the same is my appreciation for all of you. If nobody read the blog, I would have no reason to continue. To show my appreciation, I would like to have a giveaway for (1) $20 credit to Polish 'M, (1) $20 credit to Bellaluna Cosmetics, and (1) gift set from Lou it Yourself. That's right, there will be three different winners!
Giveaway Rules:
1. Open to the US Only (I'm so sorry my lovely international readers...I hope to have a non-polish giveaway for everyone so it will be easier to ship)
2. Please do not use giveaway or empty accounts. Winners will be checked for verification.
3. You must be at least 18 years old to enter
4. The giveaway will end on Sept. 21st at midnight (EST)
5. Winners will be chosen randomly by Rafflecopter. All winners will have 48 hrs to respond before new winners are chosen.
6. Please do not immediately unfollow after the giveaway ends. :-(
But wait, there's more!
The lovely Samantha from Bellaluna Cosmetics has kindly provided a discount code for purchases made this week until Sept 21st! Yup, that means you can purchase that fall collection or get on the mani bomb craze with a little more left in your wallet. All you need to do is enter the code RIGHTONTHENAIL15 for 15% off of your order.
Ok, time to enter! Good luck!

Right on the Nail ~ Bellaluna Cosmetics Spring 2015 Dreams Come True Collection Swatch and Review: Once Upon a Dream
*press samples*
Bellaluna Cosmetics Once Upon a Dream (2 coats) over 1 coat of pink
Hola! I hope this beautiful weather has reached you. Today and tomorrow it's supposed to be over 70. No more winter, please!
I have another polish from Bellaluna Cosmetics' Dreams Come True collection called Once Upon a Dream which is a bright pink with a strong blue shimmer. Very strong. I love it! The only thing I didn't love is the coverage. I can't for the life of me remember what pink I used as underwear, (sorry, I'm usually better at remembering!) because it was just too sheer on its own. You could probably get away with 3-4 coats, but I like it this way better. Despite it being sheer, I had no problems with the application.
You can find Bellaluna Cosmetics polishes on their Etsy store for $4 for a 5 mL mini or $8.50 for a full-sized 15 mL bottle. Right now they also have some stunning St. Patrick's Day polishes for sale as well. Make sure to learn more on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Enjoy!

Right on the Nail ~ Bellaluna Cosmetics Dreams Come True Spring 2015 Collection: Cave of Wonders and Part of Your World
*press samples*
Tonight I have a couple of polishes from the new Bellaluna Cosmetics Collection called Dreams Come True. It contains 6 polishes with different shimmers and glitters.
Bellaluna Cave of Wonders (3 coats)
Cave of Wonders is actually from the classic movie Aladdin. It is a deep blue jelly with gold, red, silver and aqua glitters. I used 3 coats for the pictures above, but if you have short nails, you may get away with 2. Despite using 3 coats and it being a glitter, I had no problems with using full strokes instead of having to dab any glitter on. I really love the depth of this polish!
Bellaluna Part of Your World (3 coats)
Part of Your World comes from what movie? Of course, it is Little Mermaid. Oh man, I loved this movie so much when I was a kid! My favorites were Flounder, Ursula and Sebastian. I'm pretty sure my parents still have some of my Little Mermaid Christmas ornaments at home! Anyway, I digress. Part of Your World is an aqua polish with gold, red and purple shimmer. Unfortunately the gold stands out the most in the pictures, but you can definitely see the different colors in real life. The first coat was a tiny bit streaky, but evened out very nicely in 3 coats.
Enjoy!

Right on the Nail ~ Bellaluna Cosmetics Winter 2014 Collection Swatch and Review: Holiday Glimmer
Bellaluna Cosmetics Holiday Glimmer (2 coats) over 1 coat Jessica Cosmetics Strawberry Shake
*press sample*
Tonight I have the other Bellaluna Cosmetics polish called Holiday Glimmer. To be honest, this one is a bit too sheer for me, so I had to layer it over a pink creme from Jessica Cosmetics. You may be able to get it opaque with about 4 coats, but I didn't want to go there. The application and formula were wonderful with the 2 coats I used. Despite being sheer, the beautiful scattered holo shimmer really helped this light pink polish pop! You could probably layer this over a lot of different polishes to make some interesting combinations.
Make sure to follow Bellaluna on Facebook for more information and sales.

Right on the Nail ~ Bellaluna Cosmetics Indie Brand Winter 2014 Swatch and Review: Belle of the Ball
Bellaluna Cosmetics Belle of the Ball (2 coats)
*press sample*
I am happy to have a brand new brand to show you called Bellaluna Cosmetics on Etsy. She currently has her Winter 2014 Collection out, and get them before they're gone, because they're not coming back. As of right now, Belle of the Ball is still in stock for $8.50. It's an absolutely beautiful emerald green with a healthy sprinkling of copper shimmer. This reminds me a little of my favorite polish called Falling Star by Barielle, but that one is blue with copper shimmer. I guess I love everything with copper shimmer! I'm always curious about the formula with new companies, and I'm happy to report that this had no issues with only 2 coats. So far, I'm very interested in more Bellaluna Cosmetics polishes. Make sure to follow Bellaluna on Facebook for more information and sales.
