Right on the Nail ~ OPI Spring 2015 Hawaii Collection Swatches and Review: Go With the Lava-Flow and Just Lanai-ing Around

Wow, I just almost typed "Happy Monday!" Oops. Where did that come from? I finally got around to swatching the new OPI Collection featuring colors inspired by Hawaii. I actually was able to go to Hawaii (Waikiki) on a research cruise from Waikiki to Brisbane, Australia that took 7 weeks. It was so awesome, and I got to see some exotic locales, but also do a lot of science on a boat.

ANYWAY, on to the swatches!

OPI Go With the Lava Flow (2 coats)

My swatches of Go With the Lava Flow are similar to other people's experiences in that it looks more red in my pictures, but it had more pink in real life. The shimmer is just beautiful and sets this polish apart from the rest of the collection. I was also really impressed with the pigmentation and formula in 2 coats.

OPI Just Lanai-ing Around (2 coats)

Just Lanai-ing Around is a mauve color with silver shimmer. The shimmer is less noticeable than Just Go With the Lava Flow, but you can still see it in low light. Sure, it's sort of a color your grandma would wear, but I still love it. This also had a great formula and application in 2 easy coats.

You can find OPI polishes at stores such as Ulta and Sally's Beauty Supply for $9.49 (or $8.79 for Beauty Club Members).
