I know, I am so behind on my Zoya swatches. Eep! The good news is that Zoya rarely discontinues their polishes, and these are all still available on their website. I'll be working on my backlog to get back up-to-date. Oh, and I looked EVERYWHERE for my bottle of Vesper, but it's gone forever. I sincerely apologize for this; please feel free to Google this shade to see if you'd like to buy it. It's a super pretty color, so I am going to purchase it during the next sale for completionist reasons. The Sensual Collection is a 12-piece set that features cremes and metallics that are perfect for any time of year, not just fall. As you guys know, Zoya collections are large, so this is going to be picture-heavy, so we need to get to swatches.

Polish Pickup December 2019: Winter is Coming Swatches and Reviews
*press samples*
Hi guys! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! It's always nice to be around family this time of year. Have you taken advantage of any Black Friday sales so far? I've definitely made a few purchases, but I'm doing good pacing myself. If you are interested in seeing this year's Black Friday sales, go check this link as you have through Monday for most brands.
PPU is doing things a little differently for December. Instead of starting on the first Friday of the month, PPU will start Monday, December 2nd at 11:00 AM ET and end on Friday, Dec. 6th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a cap and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which is rare) on the PPU website. I believe they are trying to get things out before the holiday break. I have 3 polishes to share with you this month, so make sure to check the site now to start your wishlist.

Literary Lacquers A Court of Feels and Sparkle Collection Swatches and Reviews
*press samples*
Hi guys! It definitely feels like a Monday. My co-workers have to travel to Chicago for a pen show this weekend, but this is my one show off a year, so I get to stay home and relax with the animals. While I enjoy the shows, they are exhausting and a lot of work. It's been so (too?) long since we've heard from Amy at Literary Lacquers, so I'm happy to report that she's back with a brand new 7-piece collection filled with metallics, glitters, and flakies! This collection is available now for purchase, and every order over $50 (before shipping) from now until May 1st will include a special edition bottle of polish with purchase which I also have to show you. The prices for the new set of polishes range from $10-$12, depending on the shade, or you can purchase the whole collection for a discounted price of $70. I know this doesn't give you much time to purchase to get this special offer, but swatching takes time. Oh, and all older Literary Lacquers collections are 25% off through the 1st as well.
The Court of Feels and Sparkle Collection is inspired by the Sarah J. Maas series A Court of Thorns and Roses. This collection will take you on a journey through the 7 courts of the High Fae of Prythian. Amy promises these will be spoiler-free for those interested in reading the series. I've never read any of these books, but the polishes have definitely piqued my interest. It appears to have 4 books in the series and is a mix of the romance and fantasy genres. I know that was a lot of info thrown at you, so how about we get to some photos? I have 8 polishes to share tonight, so this will be a picture-heavy post.

Thriller Duo with Zombie Claw Polish and Static Lacquer: Swatches and Reviews
*press samples*
Hi guys! I hope you had a good Labor Day weekend. I pretty much spent most of it resting up and trying to clean tar off of my car. I do so much highway driving and got lots of dots of tar on the front of my car. After lots of scrubbing and inhaling of solvents, my car is mostly clean now. Tonight I have a duo inspired by Thriller from Michael Jackson. Thriller is easily my favorite Michael Jackson song and video. Yes, all 14 minutes of it. The duo consists of polishes from Zombie Claw Polish and Static Lacquer and it will be available from Wednesday, 9/5 at 4 PM EST to Wednesday, 9/12 in the Zombie Claw Polish website. You can purchase them individually for $11, or save yourself a few bucks and purchase the duo for $18 ($21 shipped). Shall we go ahead and look at some swatches?

Pahlish Bastille Day Mystery Polish: Amelie and Sale
Pahlish Amelie (2 coats)
Hi guys! I hope you had a relaxing weekend, I know did. It's been raining like crazy here. Some of the thunderstorms have been pretty intense, too. Tonight I have a polish from Pahlish I got during their Bastille Day celebration a few weeks ago. The one I'm showing was a special mystery polish, and I couldn't be happier with it, despite not choosing it myself. Right now Pahlish is having their Summer Clearance sale, so check to see if any of your favorites are available. There's a little bit of everything, including some Christmas in July colors. The Mystery Overstock polishes are still available for just $7.00 and may contain discontinued, LE, Bastille Day mystery samples, For the Love of Polish box polishes, or Polish Pickup polishes. I've bought many mystery polishes from Pahlish, and I've never been disappointed...especially for only $7!
The color I received is Amelie and it's a deep metallic cranberry red with gold flakes. It was extremely pigmented and applied easily in just 2 coats. It dried with minimal texture, but it needed a little extra scrubbing to remove due to the flakes. Shannon does an amazing job at these metallic flakie and foil polishes. For example, Team Zissou and Quicksand are both available for just $6 right now. Remember, there's no guarantee that you'll get Amelie if you get a Mystery Pahlish, but I'm sure you'll love what you get. Find out more about Pahlish on their website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes 2017 Songs of the Season Collection Swatches and Reviews Part II
*press samples*
Hi guys! I didn't mention it here, but I'm sad Frankie Muniz didn't win DWTS. I mean, I get why Jordan Fisher won, but I feel like he really had a leg up over the competition from the beginning. Speaking of terrible tv shows, we also started watching 90 Day Fiance. Whoa, that show is crazy. On the other end of the spectrum, over Thanksgiving weekend, we watched Alias Grace on Netflix and it was fantastic! I know the author took a lot of liberties since the story took place in the mid-1800s and there's a lot of missing pieces, but it was still really interesting. Please excuse my long digression...I know why you're really here.
Tonight I have the second half of the Turtle Tootsie Polishes Songs of the Season Collection which is a 6-piece set of linear holos and metallic glitters. These go on sale tomorrow at 8 PM EST in the Turtle Tootsie Polishes website. Individual polishes will retail for $10 (full)/$6 (mini), or just go ahead and treat yourself to the set $54 (full)/$30 (mini). By doing so, you'll save a dollar on each polish. The collection will be for sale while supplies last, and will not be restocked, so get your orders in early so you're not disappointed. There will be new cuticle oils and soaps released this Friday as well. Go ahead and click that "Read More" button to see these beauties.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes 2017 Songs of the Season Collection Swatches and Reviews Part I
*press samples*
Hi guys! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I spent mine with my family in Knoxville, so we did just a little traveling this year. Lots of food and resting happened. You know what didn't happen? Blogging. Oh, and I should mention that I completely broke a nail down to a nubbin. Instead of trying to patch it up, I decided to cut them all down and start from scratch. This means that some polishes in the future will feature some short nails. At first I was super sad about it, but I've now come to grips with it and think my nails needed this. I didn't show it, but my middle finger nail perpetually had a tear in the corner that I had to patch up. I'm hopeful that the new start will help.
Tonight I have the first half of a collection from Turtle Tootsie Polishes inspired by holiday songs. If you can remember back to my posts about the Indie Nail Shop, you'll probably remember some pictures and commentary on meeting the wonderful Chrissy. Of course I'm in the Turtle Tootsie Polishes Turtlettes Facebook Fan Group, and I was lucky enough to win a guest spot to review this collection (thanks, Chrissy!). Head on over there to get a warm welcome from everyone. This is a 6-piece collection of metallics and linear holos which will release this Friday, December 1st at 8 PM EST in the shop. You'll be able to buy the full collection for $54 (full)/$30 (mini) or individually for $10/$6. The collection will be for sale while supplies last, and will not be restocked, so get your orders in early so you're not disappointed. Chrissy features polishes, but also has other products like scrubs, cuticle oils, lip balms, and soaps. There will be new cuticle oils and soaps released this Friday as well. Without further ado, let's get to some swatches!

If you love holo finishes, you need to see these polishes! As always, all glitter and creme polishes are $10, while the holos are $12 each.

KBShimmer 2016 Birthstone Collection Swatches and Reviews: Diamond and Pink Tourmaline
Hi guys! I'm still recuperating from my long weekend. My brother is coming into town this weekend, but I think it's supposed to rain. Boo. A few weeks ago KBShimmer had a sale and I just had to buy some polishes. What really caught my eye was the Birthstone Collection. I know it was released last year, but these holo metallic colors were too gorgeous to pass up. Each month's birthstone color is featured and you know I had to buy mine. Shall we get to it?

Zoya Spring 2011 Intimate Collection Swatches and Review: Dannii
Zoya Dannii (3 coats)
No, you're not hallucinating, it's another post tonight! I didn't think it was quite fair that I showed a polish from earlier this year. I'm still working through my Zoya backlog and tonight I have Dannii. Can you believe this one was released SIX years ago? Time really flies. It's a medium metallic orchid purple with gold shimmer. I mean, is this a true metallic? Zoya calls it a metallic, but I don't know. I think I'd call it more of a glass-flecked finish. It's definitely a beautiful polish, and I'm glad I finally added it to my collection. I could have used 2 coats with this one, but I ended up doing a quick third just to make sure the VNL was covered. Do you own this one?

Random Zoya Spam: Swatches and Reviews
Hi guys! TGIF! My family just got in town to take care of my animals and house while I'm on vacation. I can't wait for the time off! I'll do my best to take some pictures and I'll likely be giving my nails a little break while I'm away. Tonight I have some more random Zoya polishes I picked up during a recent sale. Zoya is my favorite mainstream brand, and I'm excited to fill out some of the collections I missed.

Quixotic Polish Swatches and Reviews: Cher's Favorite Sparkle and Inner Sparkle
Hi guys! It was yet another manic Monday after a nice weekend. My husband and I went to see Spiderman: Homecoming this weekend, and I really loved Tom Holland as Peter Parker. If you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend it. We also took Scraggles hiking again, and she is such a little adventurer! She hates going outside if it's raining (we call her Princess Paws), but she was walking through some streams with no issue. Tonight I have a new brand to the blog called Quixotic Polish. I joined the Facebook Group about a month ago, and Mary, the maker, had just released a new trio. Unfortunately this trio is no longer available, but I hope you're ok with me still showing them this week. On the bright side, the polishes I'm showing tonight are still for sale, and are even on sale right now! Shall we get to it?

I'm BACK! and Great Lakes Lacquer Winter 2016 My Winter Survival Kit Collection Swatches and Review: Freshly Fallen Snow
*purchased with a blogger discount*
Great Lakes Lacquer Freshly Fallen Snow (2 coats, diffused LED light)
Great Lakes Lacquer Freshly Fallen Snow (2 coats, direct LED light to show holo effect)
I know, I've been away for weeks, but there are reasons. REASONS! I had family in for the holidays and just didn't have time to post. As soon as they left I went and visited my parents in Knoxville where my mom proceeded to get me sick. Thanks, mom! I'm still sick, but I'll deal. Did you have a good New Year's Eve and day? How are your resolutions going? My resolution is to keep the blog going for another year. You may have noticed that a ton of great bloggers have recently decided to quit. I get it, I really do. Of course I've considered quitting, but I'm just not there yet. On that note, shall we get to the review for today?
Freshly Fallen Snow comes from the My Winter Survival Collection from Great Lakes Lacquer. It's a silver metallic with loads of silver flakes and a holo finish. If you love that silver tinsel you put on trees, then you will love this polish. I wasn't sure if 2 or 3 coats would be needed, but I easily got away with 2. The formula was a tad thicker than some of my other GLL polishes, but I'm sure that it's from all of the flakes in here. In no way was it was hard to apply though.
Freshly Fallen Snow is still still available for purchase on the Great Lakes Lacquer website (which is no longer on Etsy) for $11. I love it and wholeheartedly recommend Mariah's polishes to any nail enthusiast. Make sure to check out what Great Lakes Lacquer is up to on their Facebook and Instagram pages as well.
*These polishes were provided by the brand at a discounted price. All reviews are based solely on my opinion. For more information, please see my full disclosure at the bottom of the site.

Hi guys! How has your hump day been? My brother is visiting this weekend and we are going to see AC/DC in concert. Woot! Needless to say, I am super excited! Also, welcome back to the second half of the Zoya Metallic Holos set from the Urban Grunge collection. Tonight's polishes are even more exciting if I do say so myself. Shall we go ahead and get started?

Hi guys! I hope the start of your week is off to a great start! I was completely swamped at work today, but that's not always a bad thing. Oh, and there will be another Nibs & Nails this week, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Tonight I'll be starting the shimmery side of the Zoya Urban Grunge collection. Right on the Nail ~ Morgan Taylor Holiday 2015 Gifted With Style Collection Mini Set Swatches and Reviews
Hi guys! Today felt like Friday for some reason which is really disappointing since it is only Wednesday. Oh, did I tell you that I'm going back to Cambodia in January? I'm a huge fan of Cambodia and this will be my 4th time going there. I usually have pictures of the local beauty shop I go to while I'm there, so keep your eyes peeled for that next month. Tonight I have the holiday mini set from Morgan Taylor to show you. The whole Gifted With Style collection is 6 pieces, so I'll just be showing the other 2 later this week. Let's see what we have going on here...

Hi guys! Tonight I have the 4 polishes I bought from the China Glaze fall Great Outdoors Collection. There were actually more I wanted to buy, but Ulta was out of most of them. Perhaps when I have time to go to my nail supply store I will get the rest I was interested in. Let's get to it!

Rainbow Honey Mystery Bag Swatches and Reviews: Laguna Grande and Thallo Bot

Right on the Nail ~ Zoya Fall 2015 Flair Collection Swatches and Reviews Part II: Estelle, Giada, and Tris
*press samples*
Hi guys, happy Labor Day! Can you believe the summer's basically over? I had a bit of a quiet day and just did a little shopping. We also ate at a brand new Mexican food place that just opened today, and it was really good! Tonight I have the final 3 Zoya polishes from the Flair collection to show you. Follow me after the break to hear what I think.

Right on the Nail ~ Nanacoco Crystal HD Nail Polish Collection Swatches and Review: Neon Flux and Star Dance
Nanacoco Neon Flux (2 coats)
Nanacoco Star Dance (2 coats)
Nanacoco isn't a company often talked about, but I've been super impressed with the polishes I own. I think part of the problem is that unless you have a local nail supply store that stocks them, then you have to order them online. I'm lucky enough to have them at an affordable price nearby.
Tonight I have 2 colors from the Cyrstal HD collection that feature metallic foil finishes. Up first is Neon Flux which upon first glance looks silver, but is actually a really subtle green foil. The second color called Star Dance and is a reddish orange metallic foil that is perfect for fall. The polishes pretty much applied themselves in only 2 coats. I also want to mention that you get an extra 1 mL with these polishes (you get 16 instead of the normal 15 mL)-so much polish!
Like I said before, finding these polishes is the hard part. I found these on Amazon for $5 each or HB Beauty Bar for $3-$3.50 (I'm not sure if you have to have a license to order from them...if you know, please let me know).
