Right on the Nail ~ China Glaze Fall 2015 The Great Outdoors Collection Swatches and Reviews (Partial)

Hi guys! Tonight I have the 4 polishes I bought from the China Glaze fall Great Outdoors Collection. There were actually more I wanted to buy, but Ulta was out of most of them. Perhaps when I have time to go to my nail supply store I will get the rest I was interested in. Let's get to it!

China Glaze Cabin Fever (3 coats)

I've been a fan of China Glaze's duochrome polishes for a long time and Cabin Fever is no different. It's a pinkish red with a gold flash that leans green. The formula was fine, but you need to be careful of brushstrokes, especially since 3 coats were needed (2 just didn't quite cut it).

China Glaze Change Your Altitude (2 coats)

Change Your Altitude is definitely the "safest" of the polishes, but that doesn't mean it's boring. It is a creme polish with a mix of light grey and tan...some might even say greige. Some of the polishes I've used from China Glaze lately were a bit tricky in terms of application, but I'm happy to report that these were not too bad, especially this one and Check Out the Silver Fox.

China Glaze Check Out the Silver Fox (2 coats)

Was this named after Anderson Cooper? If not, it should be because he is so attractive. I digress. Check Out the Silver Fox is a medium silver metallic foil that I feel like I might have a couple dupes for, so check your stash. It had a perfect application and formula in just 2 coats (almost a one-coater).

China Glaze Pondering (2 coats)

And finally, there's Pondering which is an indigo blue duochrome with flashes of green and purple. This is definitely another one I would recommend from the collection if you like duochromes. I found this one to be a bit more pigmented than Cabin Fever so only 2 coats were needed. Again, brush strokes can be a problem so have a light hand on the final coat.

The cheapest place to find China Glaze is through Transdesign for $3.25 each. Surprise, they also have the Holiday collection available! You can also find them at your local Sally's Beauty Supply or Ulta stores where prices may vary. Get more info on China Glaze on their FacebookInstagram, or Twitter pages.
