Zoya Fall 2016 Urban Grunge Collection Metallic Holos Swatches & Reviews Part II

*press samples*

Hi guys! How has your hump day been? My brother is visiting this weekend and we are going to see AC/DC in concert. Woot! Needless to say, I am super excited! Also, welcome back to the second half of the Zoya Metallic Holos set from the Urban Grunge collection. Tonight's polishes are even more exciting if I do say so myself. Shall we go ahead and get started?

Zoya Finley (2 coats)

Finley happens to be a deep purple scattered holo polish. The holo finish is interesting on these...it's no the usual finely milled particles you see in other indie's polishes, but more like larger flakes. It's always nice to see a mainstream brand like this try to keep things fresh and new. Shown is just 2 easy coats with topcoat.

Zoya Merida (2 coats)

Merida has the same scattered holo flakes as Finley with an evergreen base. I still can't decide if I love Merida or Finley more. What do you think? The closest green Zoya has in their collection would probably be Logan or Ivanka, and both of these are quite different than the finish on Merida. In other words, you should probably get this one, too. I'm sorry for your wallet. Again, this is 2 smooth coats shown above. I tend to use peel-off basecoats for my swatching, so I didn't get any staining, but this is the type of color that may make you have green fingers forever. Make sure to double up on basecoat just in case.

Zoya Troy (2 coats)

And finally we have Troy which is a charcoal grey metallic foil with a bit of silver and gold shimmer. I love most grey polishes and this is no exception. Did you know that there's an indie box being released consisting of only grey colors? Yes, that has nothing to do with Troy or Zoya, but it just made me think of it. I must buy that box! Anyway, grey is a great fall color, so I'm a huge fan of this. This is just 2 easy coats for full coverage.

That's it, folks! It's not really surprising that Zoya hit it out of the park with this set. I think fall is one of the best seasons for polishes, right? If you're forcing me to give my top picks, I would have to say Alicia, Merida, and Troy. These retail for $10 and you can find out more about them on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. I'm not sure if they're at Ulta just yet, but keep your eye out for them at your local store.
