Beauty on the Beach Duo with Polished for Days and Nvr Enuff Polish Swatches and Reviews

Hi guys! I can't believe it's Wednesday already! Don't forget that the giveaway for the Frenzy Polish custom color called Emerald of Chivor ends this Friday so enter today. There's be a great response to the segment, and I have even more surprises in store. Check back on Friday for another Nibs & Nails + giveaway.

Tonight I have a duo that was released as a pre-order for only 24 hours back at the end of July. Unfortunately you can't get these anymore, but I figured I'd show them to you guys anyway. Nvr Enuff Polish was the guest maker and I've been wanting to try them for ages. The duo was called Beauty on the Beach and featured a glitter and a holo flake polish. Without further ado, let's get to the swatches and reviews!

Nvr Enuff Polish Glass Beach (3 coats)

I'm a bit sad because I don't feel my photos do Glass Beach justice. I knew nothing about the real Glass Beach in California prior to this, but I'm definitely now intrigued! Oh, and you can easily see the inspiration in the polish. It's basically a glitter bomb with a mostly gold glitter base with a sprinkling of blue, green, red, and holo glitters. I used 3 coats for the photos above, but you can see a few bald spots, especially towards my tips. It is much less noticeable in real life...you know how macro photos can be. If you care about these bare spots, you could always use it over a nude base color. Otherwise, the formula was great on this one.

Polished for Days Pink Sand Beach (2 coats)

Pink Sand Beach is in fact a beach in the Bahamas (Google it for some amazingly beautiful photos) and now I want to go there immediately. The polish is a light pink holographic polish with a small amount of ultrachrome flakes. I have a few other polishes that are similar in theory, but I found Pink Sand Beach focused more on being a holo than a flakie. Either way, it's a beautiful polish and I'm happy to have it in my collection. It was a bit thicker than my other Polished For Days colors, so you'll need to make sure to use thin coats and a light hand to stop any dragging.

This set retailed for $20 and is not available anymore.

Pink Sands Beach reminds me of dyed Easter Eggs, and I love it!
