I know, I am so behind on my Zoya swatches. Eep! The good news is that Zoya rarely discontinues their polishes, and these are all still available on their website. I'll be working on my backlog to get back up-to-date. Oh, and I looked EVERYWHERE for my bottle of Vesper, but it's gone forever. I sincerely apologize for this; please feel free to Google this shade to see if you'd like to buy it. It's a super pretty color, so I am going to purchase it during the next sale for completionist reasons. The Sensual Collection is a 12-piece set that features cremes and metallics that are perfect for any time of year, not just fall. As you guys know, Zoya collections are large, so this is going to be picture-heavy, so we need to get to swatches.

Morgan Taylor Fall 2017 Matadora Collection Swatches and Reviews Part I
*press samples*
Hi guys! Sorry I've been a bit absent, but I took a few days off to visit with my parents. My dad came down with something on Saturday, so we spent all of Sunday on the couch watching Stranger Things 2. I could definitely think of worse things to do. Did you binge watch it this weekend? Tonight I have the Morgan Taylor Matadora collection to show you, and it features vampy colors inspired by Spain. To be honest, I think the killing of bulls for sport is disgusting, so I'm going to try and ignore the killing part, and focus on the culture. I'd love to hear what you think about this. That said, let's get to some swatches.

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Fall 2014 Swatches and Review: Black Orchid
ILNP Black Orchid (3 coats, diffused LED daylight)
ILNP Black Orchid (3 coats, direct LED daylight to show holo goodness)
Hi guys! I know, no Nibs & Nails again this week. No worries, I still have several more brands/inks/giveaways coming so don't despair! Can I just say that I'm happy it's Friday? This week seemed to drag on for some reason. I'm leaving for Dallas to work at the Dallas Pen Show, so if you're in the Dallas area, come say hi! It's only fitting to show ILNP's Black Orchid tonight because I was given this polish by a fellow pen/ink lover, Ana! Ana is the mastermind behind the blog The Well Appointed Desk. Once she found out I had a nail polish blog we instantly became friends. While at the DC Pen Show this year, Ana was kind enough to give me a few indie brand polishes I haven't already featured on the blog. Yes, I finally know someone in real life who loves indie brand polishes! Please stop by her blog to support another polish/pen/ink lover.
Black Orchid comes from the Fall 2014 Collection from ILNP. I just received an e-mail today about the Fall 2016 pre-order that goes until Sept. 23rd. They are a reputable brand known for their holo, multichrome, and flake polishes. Black Orchid is a vampy burgundy holo with strong purple undertones. Come on, that holo finish! I think you need another purple holo in your life and its name is Black Orchid. I ended up using 3 coats for my photos above, but you should be able to get away with 2. The formula was smooth and perfect, so no need to worry about streaking or flooded cuticles.
Black Orchid is still on sale for $10 at the ILNP website. Make sure to check out the Fall 2016 collection while you're there. You can find out more about INLP on their Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages. Have a great weekend!

Zoya Fall 2016 Urban Grunge Collection Swatches and Reviews: Part I of the Cremes
*press sample*
Hi guys! I hope your Labor Day went well. The weather was really nice here so we had a cookout at home. Other than that, I had a quiet weekend. Tonight I'll be showing the first 3 polishes from "the creme" side of Zoya's Urban Grunge collection. I showed the holo and metallic set a couple weeks ago and I was a huge fan, so we shall see if these can measure up.

OPI Fall 2012 Germany Collection: Every Month is Oktoberfest
OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest (2 coats)
Hola! Quick post today because there is so much to do with so little time before my trip. I hope to start scheduling some posts this weekend to go up while I'm gone.
I only bought 1 polish from the OPI Germany collection and that is Every Month is Oktoberfest which is a dark, vampy purple shimmer with a hint of gold. Colors like these always make my camera go crazy, and this was my second attempt to capture this color. Now that my nails are short, I sort of want to try this one out again because I think it will look better. The formula and application was great; it was not too thick and not too thin. Overall, this is a great polish for fall and winter, and I would definitely recommend it.

Jessica Cosmetics Fall 2012 Spicy Dream Collection: Cinnamon Kiss
Jessica Cosmetics Cinnamon Kiss (2 coats)
Quick post tonight because I need to catch up on America's Got Talent since it's the finale. I know, I can't believe I still watch it either.
Cinnamon Kiss is probably tied for my second favorite of the collection. Upon first glance, it looks similar to one of the OPI Germany collection polishes called German-icure, but I don't have both to compare. Cinnamon Kiss is a vampy blackened red shimmer that has a bit of gold if you look at the bottom of the bottle (it doesn't translate very well on the nail). The formula and application was great, as usual.

Lacura Beauty: #402 Cherry Red
Lacura Beauty #402 Cherry Red (2 coats)
Have you ever heard of Lacura Beauty? One day my parents were visiting and they were nice enough to bring me a nail polish. I looked at it and said, "Where did you get this?" and they were silent. Then my dad goes, "We paid $20 for it" and my mom immediately replied that it did not cost $20. Silly dad! I finally got them to tell me that they got it at ALDI grocery store. I don't shop there and had no idea that they had polish! They have the brand Lacura Beauty and you can find their range here and they only cost $1.49. It is a very safe collection, but I am so impressed with #402 shown above (the bottle only says 402, but after looking online, I think it is Cherry Red, but I could be wrong). It is a vampy brownish red creme that is just so shiny and beautiful. You may be wondering about wear and formula, and I'm happy to report that it applied like and dream and was very pigmented. Color me impressed! I may just have to stop at ALDI to see what else they have. So tell me, have you ever seen or used the Lacura Beauty products?
