Happy Friday to everyone! I hope your work week went well, and to those of you with different schedules than M-F, I feel your pain! Today we end the Falling in Love Collection with 2 polishes that stood out from the others due to their brightness. Up first we have First Date which is a deep yellow with some mustard hues with a strong gold shimmer called First Date. Black and yellow seem to be the colors lacking most in my collection, so I'm glad to have this unique one. Being a yellow, it was a bit of a pain in the application and formula and needed 3 coats for opacity.

Up next we have Sweet Hue which is a bright pink with lots of subtle gold shimmer. The shimmer isn't quite as prominent as in First Date, but it isn't invisible, either. When I think of fall, I don't immediately think of bright pink, but I'll wear any color any time of year. The formula on Sweet Hue was excellent and only needed 2 coats.

Overall, I think this is a really comprehensive collection with mostly wins and only a few duds. I like how there was a nice mix of both shimmers and creme; often we only get one shimmer and mostly cremes or vice versa.

Nubar is a 5-free company and you can find more about them on their websiteFacebook, or Twitter pages. Each polish retails for $8.40, but if you buy the whole Falling in Love collection right now, you get a discount.
