Quixotic Polish Grey Nail Polish Fanatics Group Custom and Shiny New Seahorse

Hi guys! I've been nursing a mild illness, so please bear with me. Tonight is the last night to get one of the polishes, so I wanted to make sure to get this post up ASAP. You guys know how much of a fan I've been of Mary and what she's done with Quixotic Polish this past year. She was recently asked to make some customs for the Grey Nail Polish Fanatics Facebook Group, and boy did she come out with some beauties! The other polish appears to be a core color now, so you'll at least have some time to get Shiny New Seahorse, because you're going to want that one.

Quixotic Polish Pendent Flowers on Frail Stems (3 coats)

Up first is the custom for the Grey Nail Polish Fanatics group called Pendent Flowers on Frail Stems. You guys know my love of grey polishes, so I just couldn't stop myself from buying this unique polish. It's a medium grey base with lots of iridescent and chameleon flakes and purple/green shimmer. The iridescent flakes seemed to be larger, while the chameleon ones were small to medium. I used 3 thin coats for added depth, but you could get away with 2 if you are more generous with your coats. Removal was still fairly easy, even with all the flakes.

Quixotic Polish Shiny New Seahorse (3 coats)

What. a. showstopper. I didn't expect the shift to be so prominent with this one. Shiny New Seahorse is a teal base with a strong green flash and holo finish. My pictures don't even do this one justice! I again used 3 thin coats for my photos, and I had no issues with staining or anything.

Honesty time here. I'm so impressed with both of these polishes. If you're interested in Pendent Flowers on Frail Stems, you need to go get it NOW! It retails for $10, and is available on the website. I mean, while you're there, do yourself a favor and pick up Shiny New Seahorse (also $10). If you haven't done so, come join us in the Quixotic Polish Facebook Fan Group for fun discussion and giveaways. Stop by the Quixotic Polish websiteFacebook page, or Instagram pages to find out more.
