Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Show Me Your Beads Quad Feb. 2020 Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! Work has been insanely busy this week, so I'm really looking forward to the weekend. Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow! My husband and I always go to IHOP for our Valentine's dinner because it's super low key and there's never a wait. It's basically a joke between us. Tonight I have the first of several posts to share from Pretty Beautiful Unlimited. Up first is a quad inspired by Mardi Gras which happens to fall on Tuesday, February 25th this year. This set is full of glitter, flakes, and magnetics...so a little of everything! These will release tomorrow (Valentine's Day) and each one will retail for $11 except for Beads and Floats which will be $10. And for an even better deal, you can purchase all 4 for just $38 for a savings of $5.

Good news, there's also a sale starting tomorrow. There will also be a 20% off sale on new releases starting at midnight on 2/14 and ending at 11:59PM on 2/16. Use code: FEBNR20 at check out. Shall we get a closer look at these beauties?

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Beads and Floats (3 coats)

Up first we have Beads and Floats which is a purple jelly base with a custom mix of glitters in various sizes (I see circular, hexagonal, and square in neon orange, red, blue, purple, yellow, pinked green) and blue to purple/pink shifting shimmer. This one dries with texture, so I recommend a thick topcoat or 2 coats of a thin one. It will also take a bit more elbow grease to remove, so either use a peel-off base coat, or the foil method for easier removal. This one is definitely a party on the nails and reminds me of confetti poppers. It applied well, and I used 3 thin coats for photos because it's a jelly base.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Catsquerade (3 coats)

Guys, I'm dead. As soon as I saw Catsquerade, I knew it was going to be love. After putting it on, I somehow fell even harder. Just look at those flakes! It's an army green jelly base with scattered holographic pigment, micro holographic flakies and tons of purple to red to gold crystal chameleon flakies. You need this one in your life. I used 3 thin coats for my photos, and it dried with minimal texture.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Fat Tuesday (3 coats) (index/middle with magnet ring/pinkie no magnet)

My favorite kind of magnetic polish is one that can be used with a magnet or without and still have it look beautiful and Fat Tuesday checks both those boxes. It's a black jelly base with copper/red/gold/green crystal chameleon flakies and violet/blue/green multichrome magnetic pigment. If you don't magnetize it, the green stands out when you look at the polish straight on, and the blue/violet pops at angles.

For the nails I used a magnet on, I applied one coat normally without using the magnet. On the second and third coats, I applied thin layers of polish and put the magnet as close to the polish as possible without touching it and left it there for at least 30 seconds. As soon as the last coat was magnetized, I immediately applied the fastest drying topcoat and then put the magnet over the polish again for 30 seconds. Make sure to work one nail at a time. If you want to save time, I recommend applying a 1-coat black and putting one coat of Fat Tuesday over it. If I had the chance to do it over again, I'd do it that way. You'll save nail polish and time which is a win-win.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited King of Carnaval (3 coats)

And last, but certainly not least, is King of Carnaval which is a lightly tinted yellow base loaded with gold micro holographic glitters, fairy dust pigment that shift gold/green, and crystal chameleon flakies that shift between aqua/purple, pink/indigo, and blue/green. This one has so much bling and I love the visual texture between the holo glitters and flakes that float in the background. This one dries with a bit more texture due to the glitters, so bust out that thicker topcoat again. I used 3 thin coats for my photos, and any visible nail line you can see in photos was not evident in person (it's just due to the bright lighting).

There you have it, folks! My top picks from the quad have to be Catsquerade and King of Carnaval, but I'm a fan of each one. If you have the cash, I definitely recommend getting the quad to save a few bucks. Again, these will be available tomorrow, and don't forget to use code FEBNR20 through 2/16 for 20% off the new releases.
