Could it really be? A yellow polish that isn't thick and a mess to work with? Indeed, OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana actually applied really well in only 2 coats. I am so happy and impressed! This may be my favorite yellow I own. When I think of Brazil, bright yellow definitely comes to mind. I forgot to mention all of the exciting things coming up in Brazil, most notably the World Cup followed by the 2016 Olympics. Pretty awesome.

I can honestly say this is the first collection from OPI that I've been truly looking forward to in a long time. The mix of brights and neutrals really seem to fit the Brazilian theme and is perfect for spring. I don't have the whole collection (I left out the taupes and the pink because I didn't think they were unique enough to purchase) but I have like 7 to show. 

Up first is the very light pink nude creme called Don't Bossa Nova Me Around. I'm going to start this by saying I always hate the names of OPI polishes. They are the cheesiest names ever (and my husband loves them). I hate the name of this one, and I'm going to hate the name of the rest of them so I'm just going to leave it out there for the rest of the posts. Since Zoya brought the Neutrals collection out, I've been really digging nudes and I think this one is perfection. I thought maybe it'd be chalky, but I had no problems at all in 2 self leveling coats. I am starting to get into nail art (if you want to call it that) and I used striping tape and mattified the polish which also looks cool. We're off to a good start!

Whoa, look at this dark navy blue creme! It's so dark that it was making my camera go crazy and to get the color right, I had to have vampire hands. Sorry about that! I'd rather have really white hands with the correct polish color than vice versa. As you can see, it dries darker on the nail than the bottle color. I think this was a Fashion Week color for Timo Weiland because it's not on the website anymore (besides in this trio). Has anyone else tried this out? This one is very pretty and extremely shiny. It also had superb formula and application in only 2 coats. Well, that's it for the Roasty Toasty Dream Box. The good news is that this trio is still on sale, so if you really want Timo, go ahead and get this set on the Zoya website.

I'm sitting here watching some Olympics with granola baking in the oven. What a weekend, right? Ha! Needless to say, things have been slow today since my in-laws were in town last night. In nail news, I have about half of the OPI Brazil collection I've been swatching, so stay tuned for that. 

The second polish from the Roasty Toasty box is Envy which is not surprisingly a blackened green creme (actually there is a verrrry tiny amount of shimmer, but you can't really see it, so let's just call it a creme). It's really dark, but it doesn't look black in any light. The formula was slightly thick, but still workable, but you really need to be careful of staining with this one. I would double up on the basecoat just in case.

Who knew that Zoya's Lael came out in a collection called Downtown for Fall 2007? 2007!! I was wondering why I never knew about this polish; I'm usually trying their new collections and don't often look at the core or older polishes. Well, I regret it because Lael is a beautiful plum purple creme. Also, when I buy from Zoya, I'm always drawn to their shimmers and glass-flecked polishes, so cremes go by the wayside. I was lucky enough to get the Roasty Toasty Trio from my aunt for Christmas-she knows me so well! The formula and application were great as well. I've been putting Maria Luisa over a lot of polishes to see how it looks, and I think it looks pretty great over the dark purple. Very regal if you ask me. If you have the cash, I recommend both. If not, just wait for one of their wonderful sales.
