China Glaze Vintage Vixen: Classic Camel

China Glaze Classic Camel (2 coats)

People told me that Classic Camel wouldn't look good on me, but I just had to give it a chance. And....they were right. I really wanted to love it, but alas, it just looks too close to my skintone for my liking. I do think it would look great on darker skintones though. For reference, I am a MAC NC20 if that means anything to anyone. If you are into mannequin hands, then perhaps this one is for you. Classic Camel is a tan base with gold shimmer throughout. I love how China Glaze doesn't take themselves too seriously and can name their polishes from the color of a camel. The pigmentation on the ones I've tried from this collection are really great and only need 2 coats. The application is only slightly thick, so be sure to make your coats as thin as possible so you don't get bubbling.

It's actually called Classic Camel because camelhair coats were really popular in the 40s.

I like it! I don't expect it to look good with my skin, but I'm going to get it anyway. :D

I think this is a very different polish color. Not sure how it would look on me, but I liked the swatch :)

I love it, I suppose I am going to have to make another trip to Sallly Beauty post haste...I was just there yesterday.
