Revlon: Perplex

Revlon Perplex (2 coats)

Yes, I found this elusive polish called Perplex from Revlon at my local 24-hour CVS pharmacy. You may think this polish looks a little familiar because it is a dupe of Chanel's Paradoxal. I don't own any Chanel polishes but it's not because I don't want to own any. Since I have this blog there is no way I could make purchases such as that (especially since I don't have a job yet :-( ), but if you look around at other blogs you will find some comparisons. Trust me, they are basically dupes. You guys know I love dusty polishes and this is a dusty purple polish with a nice mix of shimmer throughout. I think that little bit of shimmer is what the sets this polish apart and some of the last really big polishes from Chanel have this subtle shimmer (e.g. Jade and Riva ). If you're on a budget like myself and want a beautiful purple, keep checking your local Ulta, CVS, Walgreens and Rite-Aid (and your own respective drugstores around the country) to see if you can find it. It's in its own stand alone display, but the drugstores like to hide it so you may have to do a bit of investigating to find it. The application was surprisingly great and only needed 2 coats which is shown here. Good going, Revlon!

Thanks everyone! If you haven't found it yet, there's a chance I may be having a giveaway soon for it! My CVS had several left (probably because they put it in a really weird spot) and I may stop by and pick another one up.
