Pipe Dream Polish Swatches: Fall Again and Pink Elephants and Lemonade

Pipe Dream Polish Fall Again (1 coat) over Essie Sand Tropez (2 coats)

Pipe Dream Polish Pink Elephants and Lemonade (3 coats)

Have you had a good weekend? We went out and did a ton of holiday shopping and got most of it done despite it being so cold outside again (we went to places that aren't malls so we were outside a lot). It's quite a relief getting ready and being prepared early for Christmas this year.

I have a new indie brand polish to show you (they were even showcased in Nail It! Magazine) called Pipe Dream polish by April from Knoxville. It makes me want to go back to Knoxville and meet her and see all of her great polishes! She often gets the names for her polishes from music, and that was the case from Fall Again from 10,000 Maniac's "Like the Weather." It's a bronze, copper and gold hexagonal glitter with a fine sprinkling of gold microglitter. I found this one to wear well over multiple colors, but I ended up with a beige color and really makes me think of fall. The glitter density was great and only needed 1 coat, but it was a little thick, so you may need to thin it a little bit.

Up next is Pink Elephants and Lemonade which comes from the Madonna song "Dear Jessie," and has been Pipe Dream's most popular polish. It's a dusty turquoise color with matte pink and yellow glitters. I don't know what it is about this combination of name and polish, but it just makes me smile. I used 3 coats, but you could probably get away with only 2. The formula and application was better than Fall Again, but was still a little thick.

You can find Pipe Dream Polish on Etsy, Facebook, or Instagram @pipedreampolish. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

*These polishes were provided for a discount, but not free. As always, all reviews are based solely on my opinion. For my full disclosure, please see the side page*
