Right on the Nail ~ Elevation Polish July 2015 Woke Up In China Collection + July Yeti Swatches and Review: Mount Wutai and Yeti the Stone Warrior

Elevation Polish Yeti the Stone Warrior (2 coats) over 2 coats Mount Wutai

Tonight I have an indie brand that I've never tried before. Elevation Polish is an extremely popular brand, so it's surprising it took me so long to try them. Lulu (the owner) has restocks every 7th and 22rd of the month at 9 PM CST. There are also monthly LE polishes called Yeti's which are exclusive and are only around for one month. Unfortunately the one I have to show tonight is not around anymore, but keep your eye out for new ones. Most of the polishes from Elevation Polish are named from Lulu's love of mountain climbing which is a fun feature. Their prices are quite variable (depending on the composition of the individual polish which I find fair) and range from ~$8.50-$12.50.

Tonight I have a polish from the 4-piece Woke Up in China Collection called Mount Wutai and is a medium jade green creme. The only thing I think could make this any better would be a little shimmer, but I dealt with that later. At first I thought it would be a bit sheer, but 2 coats was enough to cover the nail line. The formula was slightly thick, but that just made it easier to handle. It also wasn't streaky at all which could easily happen from a lighter green. To add a little sparkle, I put 2 coats of Yeti the Stone Warrior on top. It's an interesting mix of silver flakes and subtle holo shimmer. In most lights the holo shimmer was just silver, but I'm fine with that. I was hoping that the Yeti would be interesting enough to buy, and I'm happy to report that I love it! So far I'm really happy with Elevation Polish. I still have a couple more to show you guys.

You can find out more about Elevation Polish from their websiteFacebook, and Instagram pages.
