Right on the Nail ~ Gilty Girl Swatches and Reviews Part II: Brilliant and Wiccan

*press samples*

Hi guys! It's been a busy day here and I have some great news: I got an elliptical trainer! I've wanted one for years and we finally got one. Perhaps I'll eventually lose the extra pounds I put on during the holidays. Tonight I have the final 2 polishes to review from Gilty Girl Cosmetics, and 1 features a type of polish I've wanted to try for years. Follow me after the break to find out what that is.

Gilty Girl Brilliant (3 coats)

Brilliant is indeed a brilliant cobalt blue jelly polish. If you like the squishy look of a jelly, 2 coats may be enough for you, but I like my polishes more opaque so I ended up using 3 easy coats.

Gilty Girl Wiccan (3 coats)

Yes, my first gold flake polish!! I wanted to try the gold flake topcoats when mainstream companies released them, but I could never find them in stores. Gilty Girl has several polishes with 24 kt gold or silver leaf and I have one of these called Wiccan. Wiccan is a blackened purple jelly with copious amounts of 24 kt gold leaf. How gorgeous and interesting is this polish?! Even my husband made comments on my nails. They were not chintzy on the gold either. The polishes with gold or silver leaf cost more, of course, and Wiccan retails for $20. I definitely think that is a fair price.

Color me impressed with the CS, packaging, and interesting polishes. Find out more about Gilty Girl Cosmetics and their polishes on Instagram and Twitter.
