Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection Swatches and Reviews Part I

*press samples*

Hi guys! Dancing With the Stars is back on tonight, and you know I'll be watching. Watching from the beginning is the best so you can watch the good and the bad. Tonight I have the first 3 polishes from the Zoya 2017 Sophisticates Collection. The days are getting shorter and the weather is slowly getting cooler. Well, ever-so-slightly cooler here in NC. And with the changing weather we get some new transitional colors to get us through the early fall months. This is a 12-piece collection with a mix of cremes, shimmers, and pearls, so we need to get into some swatches.

Zoya Beth (2 coats)

Up first we have a top favorite from the collection. I know, it's a shock that a shimmer is one of my favorites. Beth is a nude beige base with lots of rose gold shimmer. Zoya calls it a metallic, but I found it to be more of a straight shimmer. You can see a few brushstrokes, but nothing too noticeable. The formula was great in 2 coats and removal will be a breeze.

Zoya Elaine (2 coats)

Elaine is such a dark polish. In lower light it may look like a black creme, but it's definitely a deep chocolately brown. It was extremely opaque, but I went ahead and used 2 coats to smooth things out.

Zoya Gal (3 coats)

I'm sure this is named after Gal Gadot, but I must confess that I still haven't seen Wonder Woman. My husband saw it, and really liked it though! Gal the polish is a green/gold base with copper and gold microflakes. It was the sheerest of the collection, but built up to full coverage in 3 thin coats. It wasn't hard to remove, but will take a little more rubbing than the others.

Come back later this week because I'll be continuing the collection. Zoya polishes retail for $10 and you can find out more about them on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. Keep an eye out for them in your local Ulta store if you want to see the bottles in person before you buy.

Oh yeah, and Zoya has their exchange going on now through 9/22/2017.
