Jesse's Girl Cosmetics - Julie G Bohemian Dreams Collection Swatches and Reviews: Part I

*press samples*

Hi guys! I tried getting this post up last night, but it ended up taking me longer to edit the photos. Seriously, I think I spend the most time editing photos these days. Yesterday was Labor Day and I had a relaxing 3-day weekend. Tonight I have a new limited edition collection from Jesse's Girl Cosmetics called Bohemian Dreams. The bottles are the same, but the caps have a faux wood grain finish over the top. I should have taken a picture of the bottle, but of course I forgot. If you look closely at a few of the photos you can get a sense of what it looks like. While I like that they did something a little different to the bottle, I must admit that it's not my favorite look and it doesn't look very realistic. But still, for $3.99 a bottle, I'm not going to be picky. You should be able to find these at your local Rite Aid store or on the Jesse's Girl Cosmetics website. If you happen to like all of the colors, you can catch the whole set for just $9.95. So yeah, if you like 2-3 of the colors, you may as well buy the 6-piece collection and gift the others. Shall we get started?

Julie G Aria (2 coats)

Did anyone watch Pretty Little Liars? It was a guilty pleasure of mine which I'd watch on Wednesdays. I always loved Aria's outfits and hair. Aria the nail polish is a medium blue-toned magenta creme which is a great color to transition to fall. While it may not win any awards for uniqueness, it's still a nice color with a perfect formula. It was extremely pigmented and fully covered in just 2 coats. Since all of these are creme polishes, you'll find removal a breeze.

Julie G Eden (2 coats)

I'll be honest, most days people don't comment on my nails. My co-workers sort of expect a different color every day, so they are just used to it. While wearing Eden, I got 2 separate compliments from people at work. I have to agree with them, this is my favorite color from the collection. It's an olive green creme with a hint of brown undertones. You need this one, especially for the price. I used 2 easy coats for the photos above. Again, a couple swipes with acetone and you'll quickly have a clean slate.

Julie G Faith (2 coats)

And finally we have Faith which is a medium raspberry creme. Is it just me, or does this reminds you of something OPI would do for their fall collection? It's not just a straight berry color because there is a slight hint of dustiness to it to change things up. I know I sound like a broken record, but this was just 2 easy coats with simple removal.

I do want to quickly mention that I recommend a topcoat with these because they don't dry super shiny. That said, I pretty much always recommend that you use a quick-dry topcoat because nobody has extra time to wait on your nail polish to dry. Well, there you have it for the first half of the collection. Definitely stop by later this week for the second half because there are a few more you should have in your collection. Again, you can find these at your local Rite Aid store, but if you don't have one, stop by the Jesse's Girl Cosmetics website for all your makeup and nail polish needs. Stay up-to-date on all things Jesse's Girl on their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.
