Jesse's Girl Cosmetics - Julie G Bohemian Dreams Collection Swatches and Reviews: Part II

*press samples*

Hi guys! Tonight I have the second half of the Julie G Bohemian Dreams collection to share with you. To be honest, I haven't been this impressed with a mainstream collection in months, especially at the price point. Speaking of pricing, individual bottles retail for $3.99, but you can buy the whole collection for just $9.95 on the Jesse's Girl website. I don't often say this, but I recommend buying the whole set to save yourself some major bucks...and because it's a beautiful collection. So how about we get to the final reviews?

Jesse's Girl Cosmetics - Julie G Bohemian Dreams Collection Swatches and Reviews: Part I

*press samples*

Hi guys! I tried getting this post up last night, but it ended up taking me longer to edit the photos. Seriously, I think I spend the most time editing photos these days. Yesterday was Labor Day and I had a relaxing 3-day weekend. Tonight I have a new limited edition collection from Jesse's Girl Cosmetics called Bohemian Dreams. The bottles are the same, but the caps have a faux wood grain finish over the top. I should have taken a picture of the bottle, but of course I forgot. If you look closely at a few of the photos you can get a sense of what it looks like. While I like that they did something a little different to the bottle, I must admit that it's not my favorite look and it doesn't look very realistic. But still, for $3.99 a bottle, I'm not going to be picky. You should be able to find these at your local Rite Aid store or on the Jesse's Girl Cosmetics website. If you happen to like all of the colors, you can catch the whole set for just $9.95. So yeah, if you like 2-3 of the colors, you may as well buy the 6-piece collection and gift the others. Shall we get started?

Jesse's Girl Julie G Spring Trio Set 3

* press sample*

Hi guys! It's been a whole week since I've been able to blog, but I was again traveling for work (this time I was in Chicago). I was insanely busy the whole time I was gone, hence no blog post. Tonight I have the final Julie G set which is $10 for the trio on the Jesse's Girl website. While perusing the site I also noticed that they added a Unicorn Collection. A UNICORN COLLECTION! Shall we see how this last set stacks up? Go ahead and hit that "Read More" button for my thoughts.

Jesse's Girl Julie G Spring Trio Sets 1 and 2

*press samples*

Hi guys! It's Dancing With the Stars night, and I've been following it this season. Do you watch? Do you have any favorites? I have some extra special things I want to put up this week, so I thought I should get an early start. I have 3 different sets from Julie G (Jesse's Girl) to show you, and you get 3 polishes for $10 on their website. Each polish normally retails for $3.99 so you'll be saving a couple bucks buying the trio. Stay to end of the post for your chance to win a set directly from Jesse's Girl. All of the trios have one thing in common: neons! Well, some of them aren't true neons, but are on the verge of being one. I started this post yesterday, but I thought it would be helpful to see how the pinks and purples compare to each other so I put the first 2 sets together. Shall we see how they stack up?

Julie G Limited Edition Holiday 2013 Frosted Gumdrops Collection Swatch: Ho Ho Ho

Julie G Ho Ho Ho (2 coats)

I'm really not in the mood for this, but since I didn't post yesterday I feel the obligation to post something. This was my Christmas Day manicure called Ho Ho Ho from the limited edition Gumdrop collection (I really wish they called it something different since there is already a Frosted Gumdrops collection). I thought this was going to be more of a bright red textured matte polish, but as you can see, there is quite a bit of pink in there as well. Some people are calling it "strawberry red." I guess you can describe it as that. I like it, but I didn't like it for my holiday polish. The formula, application and dry time were great, as usual. I bought this at Rite Aid for $3.99 so check your local store.

Julie G Frosted Gumdrop Collection: Hot Cinnamon

Julie G Hot Cinnamon (2 coats)

The last Frosted Gumdrop polish from Julie G I have to show is Hot Cinnamon which is a warm toned polish with gold shimmer instead of the last couple with silver. I like it, but it's not my favorite, but I can see a big audience for it. The formula was great like the rest of the collection. Overall, it's a wonderful collection for an affordable price.

Julie G Frosted Gumdrop Collection Swatches: Blueberry Fizz

Julie G Blueberry Fizz (2 coats)

Man, everyone has textured matte polishes now. I know that China Glaze, OPI, Orly, Zoya, Jessica, and Milani all have them. The Julie G polishes are on the inexpensive side, and look very similar to ones from their pricier competitors. Tonight I have my favorite of all the polishes I bought and is called Blueberry Fizz which is a denim blue color with fine and hexagonal silver glitter throughout. Again, perfect application with 2 coats, and these wear for days without chipping.

You can find these at your local Rite Aid store or on their online store for $3.99.

Julie G Frosted Gumdrop Collection: Crushed Candy

Julie G Crushed Candy (2 coats)

Again, I apologize for the sporadic posting, but I've still been having some ailments that I'm going through. I've been doing my nails as much as I feel can, so I have a little bit of a backlog still. I really appreciate you all, and I'm glad I get still get a few readers even if I don't post.

My second favorite of the Frosted Gumdrop collection is Crushed Candy which is a lilac pink/purple color with lots of silver sparkle. Not only does it have sparkle, but it also has some silver hexagonal glitter that really sets it apart. I always get compliments when I wear these textured matte polishes (even my mom who wore this one). Most of the time they tell you not to wear basecoat, but I don't listen to them and put Orly Bonder and Gelous under the 2 coats of polish I used. The formula was perfect with this. I think you need all of them.

Julie G Frosted Gumdrops Collection: Tangerine Dream

Julie G Tangerine Dream (2 coats)

Julie G is a brand you can find at your local Rite Aid for $3.99 and luckily for us, they released a matte textured collection very much like the Zoya Pixie Dust polishes. Oh, and if you don't live near Rite Aid, you can buy these online. I bought most of them, but up first is Tangerine Dream which is an orange base with loads of gold glitter particles. The best of all, they don't really take too long to dry. The formula was wonderful with no issues at all. If you have these nearby, run, don't walk, to pick these up.
