Zoya Summer 2018 Sunshine Collection Swatches & Reviews: Part III

*press samples*

Hi guys! TGIF! Polish Con is tomorrow, and I am so jealous of everyone who can make it. Some of my favorite brands will be there, so hopefully I'll get to make it next year. It's also a special day because it's my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday, mom! Tonight I have the final installment of the Zoya Sunshine Collection for you. This set features the 2 toppers that can be also be used on their own. Without further adieu, let's do this!

Zoya Nahla (3 coats)

Apparently these 2 toppers are called Unicorn Kisses. Who knew? They don't have to be toppers, so I went ahead and showed it on its own with 3 coats. Basically it's a gold shimmer and glitter bomb with some extra blue shimmer thrown in there. To be honest, these didn't knock my socks off. To be fair, the color looks more opaque in real life than it does in photos. It's sort of in this weird area that's too dense for a topper, and too sheer by itself.

Zoya Saldana (3 coats)

Saldana is the light blue version of Nahla with pink shimmer. Again, I used 3 coats, and it dried with a bit of texture. You'll need to use a thicker topcoat on these. This one is on the verge of looking frosty, too.

Zoya Sandy (2 coats)

Sandy is back in Zoya's safe zone and is a cool-toned pink creme with blue undertones. This will look good on everyone, and it applied well in 2 coats.

Zoya Virginia (2 coats)

Virginia is another top pick from the collection. It's a bright coral pink creme that I have on my toes right now. This is another color that is universally flattering. It had a fantastic formula and needed just 2 coats for full coverage.

Overall, I'm torn with this collection...it has its pros and cons. My main con is that it really lacks color variation. Don't get me wrong, I can get behind my pinks and reds, but this was just too much. Also, I know some will really love the Unicorn Kisses, but these just didn't hit the mark for me, personally. That said, my top picks are Virginia, Marigold, Minnie, and Clementine. Zoya polishes retail for $10 and you can find out more about them on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. Keep an eye out for them in your local Ulta store if you want to see the bottles in person before you buy.
