I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Review and Swatch: Very Ornamental

ILNP Very Ornamental (2 coats)

I had a fairly good weekend. I played Cards Against Humanity with friends and I couldn't get any good cards to save my life! I'm the one who got cards like "Consultants." Yeah.

I have another discontinued ILNP color called Very Ornamental that came with their Holiday Trio. It's a red linear holo that has a bit of a raspberry undertone. Is it just me? Either way, this thing is full of holo goodness, and a red was what was missing in my collection. For 30% off, this one just had to be mine. Again, the application and formula was impeccable with this as well.

I Love Nail Polish Swatch and Review: Amanda Hugginkiss

ILNP Amanda HugginKiss (2 coats)

I don't believe I've ever reviewed a I Love Nail Polish...mostly due to their price point at $12.50, but they do make beautiful polishes. Also, if you order during pre-orders then you get them $1 off. Anyway, I bought some during their latest sale which unfortunately are shades that are now discontinued. Hopefully you still want to see them! Up first is Amanda Hugginkiss (love the name) which is a medium linear holographic polish. I was at the dentist the day I wore this one, and pretty much the whole staff stared and complimented my nails. It was pretty sweet. Some holos can be a little sheer, but this was absolutely perfect in 2 coats. This brand is the closest I've ever seen to a real brand and not a smaller production. I am very impressed, indeed!

Essie Summer 2014 Collection Swatch and Review: Strut Your Stuff

Essie Strut Your Stuff (2 coats)

Woot, it's Thursday! This week has been dragging, and I'm looking forward to the weekend. I've actually already swatched this polish with a Chloe & Bella glitter, but I thought it would be nice to show alone. Strut Your Stuff comes from the Essie Summer collection and is a very bright blue creme. It may not be the most unique color, but I just love how beautiful and smooth it looks. Despite my slight issue with the index finger, the formula and application was fine. You can't go wrong with a nice blue.

Rainbow Honey July 2014 Mystery Bag Swatch and Review: Chemical Plant

Rainbow Honey Chemical Plant (3 coats)

Continuing on with the July Mystery Bag is Chemical Plant (I don't really get the name) which is a pink with lots of magenta and gold shimmer. I was so excited about this in the bottle, but it just didn't translate well on the nail. The shimmer didn't stand out as much as I would have liked. It also the the problem with being really sheer. As in 3 really thick coats and still had some visible nail line. Do I still love the bags for only $10 a month? Heck yes, but not every polish can be a gem.

Rainbow Honey July Mystery Bag Swatch and Review: Viridia

Rainbow Honey Viridia (2 coats) over 3 coats OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana

Yes, I'm still behind on the Mystery Bags from Rainbow Honey, and I just got the August one this weekend! Will I ever catch up? I sure hope so. The first polish I have is a glitter topcoat called Viridia which contains tons of yellow stars, blue and purple circles, and some red glitter in an iridescent glitter finish. While I loved how this looked, the application was absolutely horrible. While applying it, it just kept getting thicker and thicker almost to the point of being a paste. If you have this one, definitely get the thinner out. Despite this, the glitter payoff was amazing as you can see from the 2 coats. I hope your weekend went well!
