OPI Fall 2011 Touring America Collection: My Address is "Hollywood"

OPI My Address is "Hollywood" (3 coats)

I hope your weekend was fun and relaxing. Mine was fine overall. I officially have less than a week before I leave for Cambodia and I'm going to try and get ahead on my posting so you guys will still have something to look forward to. Again, I've made a new science blog that I will be posting to every day (hopefully) while I'm gone so you guys can see what I'm up to. If you're interested in the link, please e-mail me at

I only have 4 polishes from the OPI Touring America collection since I have no place to get cheaper OPI polishes now that Transdesign isn't selling them anymore. If you know of a reliable place to get them, please let me know! My Address is "Hollywood" (what a bad name) seems like a boring pink, but I think it is so pretty. It is a bright rose color with lots of subtle pink and gold shimmer. I do wish the shimmer stood out more, but I still like it. It's always hard to determine the formula with the mini polishes from OPI because their brushes suck. Perhaps 2 coats would have been ok, but with the tiny brush, it needed 3 for me.

You must be so anxious! I'll be waiting for the posts of the new blog. Nail polishes are cool, but science is even cooler!

I go back and forth between loving this polish, and thinking it's boring...right now I love it :D

I was not going to get any of the shades from this collection because none of them spoke to me at all. I ended up however getting this one after seeing some really great swatch shots that ended up making it look a whole lot better than it really was. It's OK, but it's not something I am beyond crazy over. Over all this and the TX collection this yr were really bombs in my book. As far as getting OPI cheaper, I do know a few really honest sellers on eBay I can end up getting OPI from cheaper than the place 60 miles from my house (only place I have to buy it semi locally). Locally the place charges $8 plus tax - there is a place 200 miles each way from home that sells OPI for $8.50/bottle but it's buy 3 bottles get one free. If I am around that area during business hrs and can find parking I will go look as they have a lot of other brands. I also get to know some of the honest/better eBay sellers and we work off eBay and just pay through PayPal so I am still protected and the sellers can lower their costs even more for me not having to pay eBay fees. You might try that.
