Color Club Scent-suous Holiday 2011 Scented Nail Polish Collection: Very Merry Berry

Color Club Very Merry Berry (1 coat) over Mattese Elite Fantasias (2 coats)

I bought Very Merry Berry months ago, but I just couldn't find the right color to put it over. I finally settled on putting over Fantasias and I am finally happy with it. The Scent-suous collection came out at Sally's Beauty Supply this holiday season and featured 6 scented polishes. Of course, Very Merry Berry smelled of berries, but it was quite faint to my nose. It contains large hexagonal purple glitter with various sized blue glitter in a clear base. It was fairly opaque, so you may be able to make this one fully cover the nail. I like it, it sort of reminds me of the 80s for some reason. I'm not sure if you can find these anymore, but hopefully Color Club comes out with some more fun glitters.

Good choice to put this over this pretty blue cream. It gives it a very NON holiday look to what was a holiday collection glitter. I picked up only 1 from this collection. When I got to a Sally's they were very much goners but for 2 shades. I have seen these on the secondary market - maybe I will see what I have like this to try over a blue cream. I have been nursing my nails...they are so short from breakage/pealing I think due to new meds and having been really sick for 2 months now. Normally mine grow like crazy. Thus am not wearing polish right now except on toes.

OH - Forgot to say I got the red one in this collection - Cinnamon Santa I think it's called. The silver one was still left but it was a very chunky silver and nothing unique for me.
