China Glaze Fall 2012 Safari Collection: Adventure Red-y

China Glaze Adventure Red-y (2 coats)

Wow, what a red! It's one of those reds with some brown in it, but I wouldn't call it brick. The impressive thing about this polish was the opacity. Honestly, I should have used one coat because the second was barely necessary. The formula was a little thick, but manageable. Perhaps it isn't very unique, but it makes a nice fall color.

I bought this one just on the first description I read of it that it was 'one of those' fab ChG cream formulas that is opaque in 1 coat. While I had a zillion reds - this one still warms my heart...that touch of brown in it like you said pulls it into a nice place for me..but it's not a warm red like I would expect with addition of brown to red...ChG put it into a blue red. I have worn this for a pedi a few times and love looking down at my toes. Soon as it cools off again then I will wear it and other fall shades in my fingers. I wear reds yr round but think this one I would say for me, I would only wear it fall and maybe a few times in winter.
