Nubar 2014 Falling in Love Collection Swatches and Reviews: Passion's Pain and Queen

Ok, we're at the halfway point in the Falling in Love collection and today I have the purple polishes. Well, the first one, Passion's Pain is more of a brown/purple raisin jelly that reminded me of OPI Scores a Goal! from the Brazil collection, but a bad version of it. The formula was a bit watery, and even with 3 even coats, I couldn't get it to even out on my nails. I think I'd take a pass and get the OPI version.

The second polish is a beautiful jewel toned purple shimmer aptly called Queen. Please accept my apologies for the blurry last picture. I was going to leave it out and then thought, "What the hell?" and left it. It had a wonderful formula in just 2 coats, but I found that it's not that unique of a color, despite it being pretty. What do you think?

Nubar is a 5-free company and you can find more about them on their websiteFacebook, or Twitter pages. Each polish retails for $8.40, but if you buy the whole Falling in Love collection right now, you get a discount.
