Paint Box Polish The 12 Collection Swatches and Reviews: Axe Fight, Hey Missy!, and The Ultimate Warrier

Hi guys! Tonight I'm back with the final 3 polishes from Paint Box Polish's 12 Collection I started on Tuesday. While the first 2 polishes were some astounding multichrome colors, the last 3 have a variety of finishes. Shall we get started with some swatches? Let's do this!

Paint Box Polish Axe Fight (2 coats)

Axe Fight is a black crelly with fine silver holographic flakes and red shimmer. Unfortunately it's sort of hard to see the shimmer in the photos, but it's there. This one reminds me of space, and would be perfect for anyone too scared to wear just a plain black creme. I didn't think much of it in the bottle, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved this one! It applied well in just 2 easy coats.

Paint Box Polish Hey Missy! (2 coats, natural finish)

Paint Box Polish Hey Missy! (2 coats, w/topcoat)

It's been awhile since any brands have released some matte polishes, so I was surprised with the finish on Hey Missy! It's a deep plum color with a matte finish. I personally like it better with topcoat, but that's just me. It practically applied itself in 2 coats and dried really quickly with the matte finish if you don't want to add topcoat.

Paint Box Polish The Ultimate Warrior (3 coats)

No, not this Ultimate Warrier:

Man, I wish this was the inspiration because how colorful would that be?! Now that I think of it, has there been any polish collections inspired by WWF/WWE wrestlers? When I was a really young child in the 80s, I was a big wrestling fan. Just me? I haven't watched it in years, but it was fun when I was a kid. Ok, back to The Ultimate Warrier the polish. It's a really deep burgundy color with lots of red and gold glass-flecked shimmer. Have I mentioned lately how much I love glass-flecked shimmer? I don't normally go for red polishes, but this one is just too special to ignore. It wasn't too sheer, but I used 3 coats for added depth.

Overall, I'm really happy I bought the whole collection in mini bottles. If you can only get a couple, definitely get the multichrome polishes, but you can't go wrong with any of them. The 12 Collection is still for sale on the Paint Box Polish website, and the mini polishes start at $6 each. Find out more about Paint Box Polish on their websiteFacebook, and Instagram pages.
