Random Vapid Lacquer Swatches and Reviews from The Purge: Mistrust and Pacific Coast Highway

Hi guys! I told you I was going to be a bad blogger last week. Despite not blogging, I did do a ton of swatching because the rest of this month will be jam-packed with reviews. At the beginning of the year Vapid Lacquer had their "purge" to get rid of old stock. Tonight I have 2 of those polishes to show you. These aren't for sale anymore, but the next Vapid Lacquer restock and new collection Curiouser and Curiouser is coming up on April 29th at noon MDT. Shall we get to the pictures?

 Vapid Lacquer Mistrust (2 coats)

If you want a purple polish with an insane holographic finish then you must have Mistrust. Some polishes need really good lighting to show the holo effect, but not with Mistrust. I have really dim light at work and people were still complimenting my nails. I used 2 coats for the pictures above, and it had the smooth formula Vapid is known for.

Vapid Lacquer Pacific Coast Highway (3 hearty coats)

I've been to California a few times, and one of those I was lucky enough to drive up the coast on Highway 1 or Pacific Coast Highway (aka PCH). I wasn't old enough to drive so I got to soak up all of the beauty of the coastline. Anyway, Pacific Coast Highway is a medium pink jelly with a scattered holographic finish. I have a love/hate relationship with jelly polishes, but I'm really liking the ones from the California Jelly Holo collection. I used 3 heavier coats to cover up my VNL, but it builds up well.

These aren't for sale right now, but you never know if Kris will bring back a collection. Don't forget, the multichrome Curiouser and Curiouser Collection  is coming up on April 29th at noon MDT!
