Pepper Pot Polish The Final Girls Collection Swatches & Reviews: Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome and The Cutie

*purchased with a blogger discount*

Hi guys! Whoa, we got so much snow this weekend! We get a couple snow "storms" a year, but they usually aren't much. I grew up in northwest Ohio, so I am used to loads of snow. But yeah, we got over a foot of snow and ice. You know what that means: snow day! I got a lot done on my extra day off. I almost got caught up on 90 Day FiancĂ©, worked out a bit, and made a large homemade dinner. How's the weather in your neck of the woods? Tonight I've got a couple shades from Pepper Pot Polish's The Final Girls Collection. The inspiration for this set is super unique and interesting. These were made for Mackenzie's love of horror movies and the heroine/survivor of these movies. If you're a flakie lover, you will love these!

Pepper Pot Polish Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome (3 coats)

Up first is Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome is a blackened blue jelly base with iridescent/black/UCC flakes, aurora shimmer, and holo particles. This is jam-packed with flakes and shimmer, and I'm loving it! The flakes laid pretty flat, but there could be a rogue piece sticking up that you may need to tap down. Otherwise, there's not very much texture. I used 3 thin coats for my photos, but if you use thicker coats, or have shorter nails, 2 may be enough for you.

Pepper Pot Polish The Cutie (3 coats)

I know that yellow polishes tend to be a bit polarizing, but I absolutely adore The Cutie. It's a mustardy yellow jelly base with black/UCC flakes and red/orange aurora shimmer. This one is very yellow, pink, and black which I didn't expect to love as much as I do. If you do 2 coats, you may see some visible nail line, so went with that easy 3 layers. It applied exactly like the one above.

While I love both of these, The Cutie is just so interesting that it has to take my top pick. These are both available now in the Pepper Pot Polish Etsy store for $11 each, or buy the whole set of 4 for $40 and save yourself $4. Also make sure to check out Pepper Pot's other products like lip balm, lip gloss, and body lotions (new to the brand).
