More Emily de Molly Swatches and Reviews: Dreams of Glass and The Grey Silence

Hi guys! I'm finally back with another post. I know I've been a bit quiet, but I'll be back with a vengeance with the new year. It's crazy that 2018 has almost come to an end, right? It wasn't the greatest of years, personally, but I'm really happy with how the blog has been going. One thing I am going to bring back in 2019 is Nibs & Nails. I already have a couple brands on tap, and I can't wait to see what they come up with. Any guesses on what brands will be featured? Anyway, I've got a couple more Emily de Molly polishes to share with you tonight. They are quickly becoming a favorite indie brand, and most definitely my favorite Australian brand. Hit that button below to see these beauties!

Emily de Molly Dreams of Glass (2 coats)

Up first is Dreams of Glass which is a pale purple (verging on grey) crelly base with blue shimmer, iridescent orange flakes, and silver holo microglitters. Swatches show just 2 coats, and it dried with a bit of texture from the glitters. No worries, a coat of topcoat smooths it all out. Love it!

Emily de Molly The Grey Silence (2 coats)

The Grey Silence is a medium grey crelly base with large rainbow iridescent flakes, copper shimmer, and small holo microglitters. Listen, it's grey and full of lovely flakes, so of course I'm in love with this one. The grey verges on purple, likely due to the flakes and shimmer. Like most Emily de Molly polishes, I needed just 2 coats for full opacity. The flakes laid flat, so I had no issue with pieces sticking up or extra texture.

Man, I love these so much! I don't have a favorite, you just need both of them. If you are a flakie lover, definitely put these on your list. I just noticed that there will be a Emily de Molly Boxing Sale starting on Dec. 26th at 5 PM EST in the international site where the store will be 20% off with an additional new 20 limited edition polishes released (which will be 40-50% off retail price). You can find out more about Emily de Molly on their US/international websiteAU websiteFacebookInstagram, or Twitter pages.
