Noodles Nail Polish Halloween 2019 Trio Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! Oh yes, I'm back 2 days in a row. You may notice a trend that I don't post for a week or 2 and then you get a bunch of posts in a row. It just seems that collections come out around the same time, especially when a holiday is coming up. I have a couple more Halloween Collections to share with you over the next week, and they will all be available with plenty of time before the big day. Tonight I have the Noodles Nail Polish Halloween trio to share with you, and I hope you're ready for lots of glitter and flakes. They will be available:

When: Friday, October 4th at 5 PM EST
Price: $9.50 each

Shall we get a closer look?

Best Techniques for Removing Glitter

Noodles Nail Polish are very glitter-heavy polishes, so I thought I'd mention the best techniques to remove glitter. Since they all contain glitter, they will dry with some texture, so I recommend at least 1 coat of topcoat. If you are especially sensitive to feeling your polish, make sure your topcoat is a thick one, or apply a second coat of a thinner one. I use peel-off basecoats to make removal a breeze. I recommend UNT Ready for Take Off, or Hit the Bottle Keepin' it Peel as they both work well (I am not affiliated with either site or brand...I'm just sharing the love). The UNT works better for my body chemistry as the Hit the Bottle will sometimes pop off during the day. If you want your polish to last a little longer, I completely understand. In that case, the foil method will work best for you when you're ready for a change. Clips like these are cheap and great for keeping the cotton balls in place. I hope this helps, and feel free to email me or leave a comment with any questions you may have.

Noodles Nail Polish Dead Velvet (3 coats)

We're starting things off with quite the vampy shade! Dead Velvet is a blacked red jelly base with metallic red microflakes, copper/orange/lavender/red/purple glitters, and orange/green iridescent glitters. I went ahead and used 3 thin coats for my photos, but it's chock-full of glitter and flakes so you may be able to get away with 2 with thick coats. Just like the rest of these, it will dry with texture from the glitter, so use a thick topcoat, or 2 coats of a thin one. The formula was easy to work with, like all my Noodles.

Noodles Nail Polish Squad Ghouls (3 coats)

My husband isn't a huge fan of the color purple, but he couldn't keep his eyes off of Squad Ghouls. I also received no fewer than 3 compliments from strangers in the 1 day I wore this one. It should be no surprise that this is my top pick from the set. It's a medium purple jelly base with orange/pink/gold color-shifting flakes, and orange/violet hexagonal glitters. Despite not seeing it in the description, my eye sees red in there, too. Again, I used 3 thin coats for my photos, and it dried with texture. It applied easily; just make sure none of the flakes or glitter extends beyond the nail edge.

Noodles Nail Polish Witch Please (3 coats)

Natalie gave us a glitter topper in the Fall Collection, and she graced us with another for Halloween. Witch Please is a topper with purple shimmer, neon orange/purple/silver holo microglitter and holo flakes in a clear base. For some reason, I think it looks like it has pink in it, but the description does not say it has any pink glitter in it. What do you think? I always try to make these opaque, and I pretty much reached that with 3 dabbed coats.  This would work with a variety of undies, and you can see what it looks like over black over on JodisPolish's video. Since this is pure glitter, I recommend dabbing this on instead of using the brushing motion as you normally do. Any visible nail line you see above is due to bright lighting and I couldn't see it in person. I definitely recommend using a coat of Gelous before applying topcoat to smooth it out.

Can we talk about how awesome the names are, too? My top pick is Squad Ghouls, and you need this polish in your life. Don't forget Dead Velvet if you're feeling vampy, or Witch Please if you need a bright fix while the nights get cooler. Again, these will be available for $9.50 each this Friday at 5 PM EST on the Noodles websiteYou can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group.
