Right on the Nail ~ OPI Holiday 2014 Gwen Stefani Collection Swatch and Review: First Class Desires

OPI First Class Desires (2 coats)

Today is the last day for the OPI holiday polishes. Yup, that's all I bought. Up last is First Class Desires (I sort of think this is a weird name for a holiday collection) and it is a deep purple with gold shimmer. Some people were asking if this is like Zoya Sansa, and yes, they are in the same field, but First Class Desires is darker and has less gold shimmer. I like them both, but I always love me some Zoya, so I'd probably buy that one instead. All the polishes I tried from the collection had great application and all only needed 2 coats. That always makes me happy.

Did you get any from this collection? You can find these on the Zoya website, Ulta or your local Sally Beauty Supply.

Right on the Nail ~ OPI Holiday 2014 Gwen Stefani Collection Swatch and Review: Christmas Gone Plaid

OPI Christmas Gone Plaid (2 coats)

Yay, the only green polish of the collection! Christmas Gone Plaid is a dark hunter green creme that dries much darker on the nail than the bottle. It doesn't really look black in different lights, but it's definitely dark. It applied well with full opacity in only 2 coats. I wish it were slightly lighter, but it's still one of my favorites of the collection.

Right on the Nail ~ OPI Holiday 2014 Gwen Stefani Collection Swatch and Review: Red Fingers & Mistletoes

OPI Red Fingers & Mistletoes (2 coats)

Seriously, could we get a little more red polishes for a holiday collection, OPI? I think I ended up getting 3 polishes out of all of them, with Red Fingers & Mistletoes being the only red to make the cut. I know red is Christmasy, but could we get a little more adventurous? I mean, just a little? Oh, and I think I lost my OPI Smitten With Mittens. Perhaps someone borrowed it and never gave it back. Either way, I really liked that one. Does anyone have one they want to sell?

Red Fingers & Mistletoes is a red and gold shimmer/glitter. I know it's hard to see the gold on the nail, but it's more noticeable in real life (and look at the bottom of the bottom). Red shimmers are my favorite kind of reds, so I like this one. It also had a great formula in just 2 coats and no staining.

Right on the Nail ~ OPI Coca Cola Collection Swatch & Review: Today I Accomplished Zero

OPI I Accomplished Zero (2 coats)

I ended up finding another OPI Coca Cola polish I had to have and that is Today I Accomplished Zero which is for Coke Zero. It's a black jelly with large and small pink hexagonal glitter. I love how the glitter really stands out in the black instead of sinking in. I thought it was going to need 3 coats, but with 2 heavy handed coats, it was opaque with no formula issues. I know this is late, but I think you can still find it at different places.

November Rainbow Honey Mystery Bag Swatch & Review: Grayscale

Rainbow Honey Grayscale (2 coats)

Happy Belated Thanksgiving! I took a few days off and even left my nails alone. Before I chopped my nails, I got the polishes from the November Rainbow Honey mini Mystery Bag. I was immediately drawn to Grayscale which is a charcoal grey with flakes they claim to be white and silver. For some reason I think it looks like it has gold flakes. Is it just me? Rainbow Honey polishes are interesting to apply. The first coat is fine, but the formula quickly gets thick. Anyone else? If I have to do 3 coats, I always want to add thinner, but to really assess the formula, I don't.

I hope you have the day off and a fun weekend!
