China Glaze Vintage Vixen Fall Collection: Riveter Rouge

China Glaze Riveter Rouge (2 coats)

I'm not shy when talking about my feelings of reds, but I actually bought both reds from this collection! What was I thinking, right? Well, I think both of them are unique enough to change even the harshest of red haters. Up today we have Riveter Rouge, which is a stunner. If you look at the bottle you can see the silver shimmer in the polish that reminds me a bit of Strawberry Fields from last year's Spring Collection (not the color, just how the shimmer looks in the bottle). Come fall this color is just going to pop. I can't wait to wear this when it gets a little cooler outside since it is in the upper 90s this week. Because of the slightly thicker shimmer pieces the polish dries to a bumpy finish so make sure to use a thick topcoat like Seche or Poshe to get a smooth finish. I had no problems with the application, but it is very slightly thick so make sure to use thin coats.

By the way, I did have a winner of my July giveaway! I just didn't hear from her this weekend so I wanted to make sure to get contact before announcing it. Congratulations to Claire for winning both of the Pure Ice polishes! Don't worry, very soon I'll be announcing my August/1 year anniversary giveaway so stay tuned. As always, thanks for stopping by my blog and don't forget a good basecoat...

I like this one a lot. Btw, the Nordstrom here in Cincy does not have the Deborah Lippman :( Do you know if it's an online only thing?

Hey, thanks for checking out the blog! As for the Nordstrom polishes, I just went to their website and did their live chat and they said it was online only (sorry, I didn't know that since it didn't say so on the description and I received my polishes from the company themselves). Is the reason why you don't want to order online because of the shipping?

I personally can't pay $18 for nail polish, but my roommate is really into polish and she wants both of those BAD, so I think she will be ordering them online :) Thanks for the help!

Listen, I completely understand. I hope to someday own a Chanel polish, but until then it is Wet n Wild, China Glaze and the like.
