Color Club Untamed Luxury Indulgence Collection Fall 2010: Nothing But Truffle

Color Club Nothing but Truffle (2 coats)

Dissertation is now sent off to my committee! Only 2 more weeks until my defense. I guess it's about time to start working on my presentation. Eek! Up tonight is my last polish from the Untamed Luxury Indulgence Collection from Color Club and it's called Nothing But Truffle. Very cute name for a polish I just couldn't get excited about. I dunno, there's nothing wrong with the polish at all, but it just didn't do it for me. It's a deep brown polish with some gold shimmer. You could say this is one of those polishes that is "lit from within." Lovely application and formula as usual.

I agree--very cute name but not an incredibly outstanding color. It does look good on you though! YAY for your dissertation being sent off =).

I think it looks chic on you. Man, I need to get on the stick and swatch my CC's.

Best of luck on your defense. You will do just fine. :)

But the color is pretty!! I think it looks good on you.
And good luck on your defense! I'm sure you're gonna do awesome!

I think the name is a play on the phrase "nothing but trouble." And...truffles are brown mushrooms...maybe?

Truffles can be mushrooms, but more often these days they are lusciously rich chocolates, I think that's what they had in mind.

I got this because the swatches I saw were so beautiful, much like yours in fact. It is a 'lit from within' polish...as long as the lighting is good. :o( I've gotten bored with polishes that just look black in low lighting.
