Great Lakes Lacquer Polishing Poetic Collection Swatches and Reviews: I Carry Your Heart and In a Handful of Dust

*purchased with a blogger discount*

Hi guys! There are so many Memorial Day sales this weekend and I can't stop! The Darling Diva Polish Unicorn Pee collection and Polish 'M Office Humor collections released this weekend, and Turtle Tootsie Polish is having a major sale. Someone just needs to take the computer away from me! Also, don't forget that my giveaway with Cameo Colours Lacquers is still going strong so make sure to enter to win that custom polish. Anyway, tonight we are continuing Great Lakes Lacquer's Polishing Poetic collection with 2 multichrome beauties. Follow me after the break for the full deets.

Great Lakes Lacquer I Carry Your Heart (2 coats)

Obviously these posts are a bit picture-heavy because different angles and lights show the shift uniquely. Up first is I Carry Your Heart which is inspired by a poem from E.E. Cummings and is a multichrome that shifts from blurple/red/gold/bronze. Lower light and extreme angles really showcases the shift here. If you want a polish that has a tons of colors, then you need this. Like the rest of the collection, I only needed 2 easy coats for full coverage.

Great Lakes Lacquer In a Handful of Dust (2 coats)

To be honest, In a Handful of Dust was a sleeper hit for me, and it looks like fall in a bottle. It's inspired by a poem from TS Eliot and is a multichrome that shifts from cranberry/gold/orange/green. My apologies that the last photo is slightly blurry. I kept it in there because of that shift! I don't know of any other multichrome with a cranberry base like this so it's pretty unique to my massive collection. Win! I'm a broken record...swatches show 2 easy coats with zero issues to report.

And there you have it, the next couple polishes in the collection. Thoughts? Comments? Sound off in the comments to let me know. These are on sale right now on the Great Lakes Lacquer site, and each polish retails for $11-$12 each, or go ahead and get the whole collection for $87...you deserve it. Make sure to check out what Great Lakes Lacquer is up to on their Facebook and Instagram pages as well.

*These polishes were provided by the brand at a discounted price. All reviews are based solely on my opinion. For more information, please see my full disclosure at the bottom of the site.
