Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Swatches and Reviews: Faerie Whispers, Faerie Wishes She Could be Here, and Pumpkin Everything

Hi guys! I hope your week is off to a great start! Some of my orders from Memorial Day are trickling in, so you'll be seeing some new brands/polishes coming up. Tonight I have the polishes I bought at the Indie Shop: Atlanta from Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish. I was lucky enough to have a great conversation with Kristen and her husband while at the show, and I was excited to try her products. Two of the three colors I have to show were exclusives and are no longer available, but the third is still for sale. Without further ado, let's do this!

Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Faerie Whispers (3 coats)

Up first is Faerie Whispers which is a multichrome blackened base which flashes blue/green/purple with hot pink holo microglitter. You know I love a good shifty polish, but I think the microglitter is what really sets this one apart. The first coat was fairly sheer, but it built up well with subsequent coats. The application was really smooth, but you need a good topcoat because it dried a little gritty.

Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Faerie Wishes She Could Be Here (3 coats)

Up next is Faerie Wishes She Could Be Here which is a pale purple crelly base with grey undertones with iridescent glitter and blue/green shimmer flashes. I love the subtle shift in this one! It was also a bit sheer, but it was to be expected with the light base. The formula was slightly thick, but in a good way.

Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Pumpkin Everything (2 coats)

To be honest, Pumpkin Everything was the polish I was immediately drawn to when I approached Kristen's table. I love a good orange polish, and this one did not disappoint! I have a feeling it will be my new go-to this fall. While I love pumpkin pie, I'm not one of those people who needs "everything pumpkin."  Are you? The polish is warm-toned orange with gold and pink shimmer. I love it, and I don't think I have anything quite like it in my collection. It was more pigmented than the other 2 and I needed just 2 coats for full coverage.

Not only is Kristen a great person, but she also makes some great polishes! Oh, and she also sells LipSense lip color now. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like everyone else has! She has both mini and full-size polish bottles, and Pumpkin Everything retails for $6/$10. The other 2 were exclusives to the show, but check destashes for a bottle.  Head over to the Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages for more information.
