Noodles Nail Polish Spring 2019 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! I know it's been a little quiet here, but I've got a few more collections up my sleeve. It's finally spring here in NC, and I'm loving every minute of it. I've been busy at work, and was in Atlanta last weekend for their pen show. I had a good time, but it's always tiring with all that travel. Tonight I have the long-awaited spring collection from Noodles Nail Polish to share with you. Natalie has said that spring is her least favorite season to make polishes for, and you'd never know it from looking at this collection. This is a 6-piece collection featuring glitter crelly pastels, flakies, and contrasting glitter combinations. These will be available this Friday, April 19th at 6 PM ET on the Noodles site. All but Flower Child ($10) will retail for $9.50 each.

Best Techniques for Removing Glitter

Noodles Nail Polish are very glitter-heavy polishes, so I thought I'd mention the best techniques to remove glitter. Since they all contain glitter, so they will dry with some texture, so I recommend at least 1 coat of topcoat. If you are especially sensitive to feeling your polish, make sure your topcoat is a thick one, or apply a second coat of a thinner one. I use peel-off basecoats to make removal a breeze. I recommend UNT Ready for Take Off, or Hit the Bottle Keepin' it Peel as they both work well (I am not affiliated with either site or brand...I'm just sharing the love). The UNT works better for my body chemistry as the Hit the Bottle will sometimes pop off during the day. If you want your polish to last a little longer, I completely understand. In that case, the foil method will work best for you when you're ready for a change.

Noodles Nail Polish Al Fresco (2 coats) $9.50

Up first we have Al Fresco which is a bright sky blue crelly base with silver, gold, and blue glitters and blue/green shifting shimmer. This one is jam packed with glitter, so it dries with some texture, so bust out that thicker topcoat. Despite being a crelly, this one only needed 2 coats for full opacity.

Noodles Nail Polish Flower Child (3 coats) $10

I'm a huge flakie fan, so you know Flower Child is a top pick from the collection. It's a sheer purple jelly base with green aurora shimmer, pink holo glitters, and purple/pink/orange/green iridescent shifting flakies. The green shimmer and flakes really stand out in this one, and I'm in love! Purples aren't normally my favorite shades (I know I'm in the minority!), but this one is just the whole package. Flower Child is intentionally on the sheerer side so that the flakes show through, so I used 3 thin coats. I had no issues with the formula even with the third coat.

Noodles Nail Polish Lilac Meadows (2 coats) $9.50

When opening these for the first time, my husband was oohhing and aahhing over them with me. Lilac Meadows was an instant love for both of us, but my husband didn't understand why it was called Lilac Meadows. I had to explain to him that there's more green than purple in a field full of lilacs. Lilac Meadows is a seafoam crelly base with lilac and silver glitters with a touch of holo finish. This is another 2-coater with a perfect formula.

Noodles Nail Polish Blooming Hydrangeas (2 coats) $9.50

Blooming Hydrangeas is a lavender crelly base with loads of neon blue glitter and shimmer. I can see this being a favorite for lots of people. The purple/blue combo is unexpected, but works so well...Natalie is a magician with color. This one dries with some texture, so you may need a second coat of topcoat to smooth it all out.

Noodles Nail Polish Sweet Pea (2 coats) $9.50

I'm especially partial to Sweet Pea because my mom still calls me her sweet pea. It's a bubblegum pink crelly base with lavender/gold/blue glitters with gold shimmer. Pink is still one of my favorite colors, so this is another favorite from the collection. I received multiple compliments on my nails the day I wore this one, too. I used 2 thicker coats for full opacity, so you may need a third if you use really thin coats.

Noodles Nail Polish When Skies are Gray (2 coats) $9.50

Another confession: my family used to sing this song to me when I was a baby, so this one brings back memories for me. I'm a grey polish lover, so this is another top pick.. When Skies are Gray is a medium grey crelly base with periwinkle and lilac glitters. It dries with very little texture, despite the glitter, and needed just 2 coats for full coverage. Yet another interesting color combination that just works.

There you have it, yet another home run from Noodles Nail Polish. My top picks are Flower Child, Lilac Meadows, Sweet Pea, and When Skies are Gray. To be honest with you, I really love all of them. Even if I wasn't sent these to review for you, I would have purchased these myself. Set your alarm this Friday at 6 PM ET to catch these, just like you'll be catching some Easter Eggs next weekend! Who needs candy when you can buy yourself some new polish? :-D You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group.
