Static Lacquer INK Quad 2020 Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi folks! I bet you don't know what to think with a new post THREE days in a row, right? Are you sick of hearing from me yet? I hope not, because I have a Polish Pickup post coming up in a few days. I know, so many good polishes have been coming out! Tonight I have a quad from Static Lacquer which goes hand-in-hand with their September Polish Pickup shade, Early to Bed, Early to Die which is inspired by songs from Ice Nine Kills. This quad is available now for just $35 for all of them, or $11 each. Shall we get a little more acquainted with this set?

Static Lacquer Did You Hear My Circus is in Town (3 coats)

Up first we have Did You Hear My Circus is in Town which is a blue-based red base with red shimmer and a scattered holo finish. This one dried quickly and with no texture. Sometimes reds can stain cuticles, but I had no issue with staining with this one. All of these are also super easy to remove since there isn't any glitter or flakes.

Static Lacquer A Flight for the Fallen Flies the Crow (3 coats)

OoOoOo I love a good grey polish. You've heard this a few times this week, right?  A Flight for the Fallen Flies the Crow is a medium grey base with red shimmer and a scattered holo finish. I love a good contrasting shimmer, and that red shimmer in this really stands out. I'm a big Ohio State fan, so give me all the scarlet and grey. I used 3 thin coats for this one, and it dried with no texture.

Static Lacquer The Cure of Crystal Lake (3 coats)

Up next we have The Cure of Crystal Lake which is a deep navy blue base with red shimmer that looks a bit purple due to the blue base and a scattered holo finish. I found the holo finish to be the most evident due to the dark base. I went ahead and used 3 thin coats again, and it dried with no texture.

Static Lacquer You Can’t Kill the Boogeyman (3 coats)

And last, but not least, we have You Can't Kill the Boogeyman which is a soft white base with that same red shimmer and a scattered holo finish. I hope the shimmer comes across in my photos. As you can see, the holo finish is a bit subtle due to the light base unlike what we had above with the blue color. I always love a good white polish; it always looks very modern to me. Like all the others, I used 3 thin coats for my photos, and it dried with no texture.

What a beautiful quad! It's so interesting how the same red shimmer can look so different depending on the base color. I'd say my top picks are A Flight for the Fallen Flies the Crow and You Can't Kill the Boogeyman, but I love them all, and you save a bunch of money by purchasing it as a quad ($35 instead of $44). You can find out more about Static Lacquer on their websiteFacebookGroup, and Instagram pages.

Love your swatches. That maroon glittery shade is my favorite.
