Jessica Cosmetics Spring 2012 Heavy Petal Collection: Rolling Rose

Jessica Cosmetics Rolling Rose (3 coats)

Spring is definitely in the air. Just ask my husband because he has been sneezing for weeks. Man, if I had allergies like him I'd be at the allergist STAT. Men never listen though. With spring showers and blooming trees comes the spring polish collections such as Heavy Petal by Jessica Cosmetics. When I first looked at the collection I admit I was a bit let down. Really, only pinks and purples? Well, several are better than expected so let's check out Rolling Rose first. The shimmer in this one is just insane! There's loads of blue shimmer in it that is very prominent on the nail and I love it. At first you think it's a boring pink, but upon closer inspection you can really see how special this one is. The formula was a bit thick and it was sheer so I had to apply 3 coats to get the coverage you see here.

Sad this was a 3 coater. It not for that, I would say it's a great shade - right in there with those dusty pinks that stay pink and don't move toward mauve. I have yet to get any Jessica into my stash. Not sold around here, so I would have to pay the piper, order cold turkey - and right now really hating to do that. Trying to enjoy at least some of my never been trieds that I have tons and tons of with an eyeball out for which of them I should just put with the dupes I want to sell.
