OPI Spring 2012 Holland Collection: I Have a Herring Problem

OPI I Have a Herring Problem (2 coats)

Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately, but I've been having an extremely busy work week that won't end until tomorrow. I can't even tell you how many times I have changed the pH's of my samples. Ugh. Ok, enough ranting about analyzing pH levels.

I am in love with this little polish called I Have a Herring Problem (again, I love the name). You guys know I love dusty polishes and this one is a beautiful blue color with both silver and gold shimmer. If you can only get one varnish from the collection, I would recommend I Have a Herring Problem. The formula and application was perfect, but then again, I wasn't using a mini brush this time.

I like this shade too. Seems to be a split in the polish lovers out there as to if folks prefer this or Skylar from the Zoya collection best. This one is a little darker while Skylar I think leans a tish more lighter gray/blue. Kind of like the similarity between Tru from Zoya and Dutch Ya Love My Tulips. I had promised my order already to someone for the OPI collection (minus 2 of the shades - Van Gough and Red Lights). Thus I did not buy the Zoya collection...I sent for the spoons from Zoya of the shades so I could do my own comparison. With over 1000 bottles, I need to really weed some out beyond what I have done already and not reach for full collections when I know there are dupes or sisters. It's hard - I always want some of the newbies!
