Jamberry Nail Wrap: Candy Corn

Jamberry Nails Candy Corn

*press sample*

I love candy corn, and I am a bit of a purist. I don't want any of these other new varieties they have out there (the only exception are Mellowcreme Pumpkins which taste like soft candy corn). The only candy corn I don't like are these Jamberry Nail wraps I have shown above. Like I said yesterday, these things wrinkle like crazy, and I did all I could to get them out to no avail. If you look far away, they don't look terrible as shown from the bottom photo. Maybe others are better at applying these, but they are pretty unusable for me.

These nail wraps are WAY TOO LARGE for your nails. If you chose one or two sizes down then they wouldn't be buckling on the sides. Its the applicators issue… NOT Jamberry!

Ok, thanks for letting me know, but no need to be snarky. And why hide behind an Anonymous name? We're all friends here.

Yes, I must say that something went wrong with the application. I'm sorry that you had such a hard time. I have found that they are quite easy to use.

It looks like you might have really curved nails (as in, from left to right they are high in the center.) You can use different application methods if that's the case. I'd urge you to try again because they really are great and easy once you have the right size and method!

It looks like you need help on your application. They do look like the wraps are too big and on your cuticle. Everyone is different, so you have to find the application that works best for you too. I have SUPER curvy nails and its like wrapping a piece of paper around a balloon. But there are some tips out there that can help too! And once you find what works, they are JAM-azing! There are many consultants out there (including myself) who would love to help.

I would go down a size for the wrap and while they are warm on your nail and before you trim them try to stretch them a bit from the tip. It helps with curvy nailes! You may get the to flatten once applied if you try the baggie method! Go to You tube and look for it. It really helps with curved nails! Talk to your consultant i am sure she has tons of ideas just like i do :)

Ouch. These definitely weren't applied correctly. They should be completely smooth.

I have really curvy nails too and need to make slits on the sides of two of my fingers. You can check out youtube for videos on that process as well.

My mom had the same problem - SUPER curvy nails. Her first try they looked awful!! She found that going down a size for every finger made a HUGE difference, also heating them a little longer so they got nice and stretchy. Now she wears them all of the time and they look great. Take those off and try again!! :) Hope you have better luck. When they work out they are so fun!

Sorry you had such a hard time with application! There is a method called the "baseball method" out there that isn't Jamberry-officially-approved but works WONDERS on those that have a curve to their nails like yours. If your nails are curved only from side to side, the "plastic baggie method" may work for you, too. Unfortunately not everyone has perfectly flat nails, which are the ideal for applying the wraps. Don't give up though! Honestly people usually get samples to practice with prior to purchase so if they truly can't get them to work, they don't order. OH, and they have an AWESOME 30-day money back guarantee, so if you really can't get them to work you just return what you have left and they give you your money back. Easy peasy! If you want help let me know!

here is a link to the best 'baseball method' video that I have found. I have this same issue. I fell completely in love with the product once I discovered a better way to apply it. Give it another chance with a different application method. Good luck!!

I am sorry they didn't work out for you. I am a customer and love the wraps for myself but I have trouble with the juniors staying on my 4 year old, they go on smooth but slide off in about a day. I am not sure if its my application, her picking at them when I am not looking, or the wraps themselves. Thanks for sharing!

I have to agree with the others, it appears the wraps are at least a size too big for your nails.

I would try going down a size and some different application methods. Please let me know if I could send you a sample to try again.
