Right on the Nail ~ Rainbow Honey Cosmetics Swatches and Reviews: Calama and Costa Dorada

Happy Friday! If you live on the east coast, try to stay dry and safe. I made my first broadcast on Periscope today, so come find me there and on Twitter @rightonthenail! I talked about what polish I'm wearing today as well as some of my thoughts on some of the new fall collections. I'm finally getting caught up on my backlog of Rainbow Honey polishes, so follow me after the break to continue on this journey.

Rainbow Honey Calama (2 coats)

Calama is named after the city with the largest copper mine in the world in Chile. It's the color of copper after it has oxidized (think of the Statue of Liberty). Can you imagine what the Statue of Liberty looked like right after it arrived in the US before it oxidized? Calama is a bright green with gold flakes and is just perfect. It was really opaque which is a little rare for many Rainbow Honey polishes. Buy it!

Rainbow Honey Costa Dorada (2 coats)

Costa Dorada is one of those polishes you will love or completely hate. I...think it's beautiful in that ugly sort of way. It's a mustard color with a strong gold shimmer. It reminds me of ground Dijon mustard with the mustard seeds, am I right? It fully covered in 2 coats and had a smooth formula.

The Rainbow Honey mystery bags retail for $10 for the mini and $25 for the large size. You can find out more information on their websiteTwitterInstagram, or Facebook pages.
