Right on the Nail ~ OPI Fall 2015 Venice Collection Swatches and Review: Gelato on my Mind, I Cannoli Wear OPI, and It's a Piazza Cake

The week is already half over and that's totally ok with me. I believe today is the first semi nonrainy day in about 6 days. No worries, it's supposed to rain until Monday. Is this spring or fall we're dealing with? I'm sure you've seen some swatches from the newest OPI collection for fall inspired by Venice. Read on to see what I chose from the collection.

OPI Gelato on my Mind (2 coats)

Up first we have an unlikely fall collection polish called Gelato on my Mind. It's a pastel light blue that does not have that chalky look to it. I don't think the color is necessarily unique, but it's definitely unique for a fall collection, am I right? The first coat was a bit streaky, but the second coat completely covered up any streaks. I happen to love the OPI Pro wide brush and the formula helped it apply like a dream.

OPI I Cannoli Wear OPI (2 coats)

I Cannoli Wear OPI is an extremely light grey creme. It's quite the modern color that gives a clean look. It's much better than a true white in terms of application and formula and only needed 2 coats for full opacity. I think this will also be popular with nail art enthusiasts.

OPI It's a Piazza Cake (2 coats)

The final polish just so happens to by my favorite of the collection. If you want fall in a bottle, you need to get It's a Piazza Cake. It's a beautiful burnt orange creme that OPI says is a persimmon orange. I don't know if I've eaten a fresh persimmon before so I'm just going to have to take their word for it. I used 2 coats that were easy as pie (GET IT, GET IT?!).

OPI polishes retail for $9.50 and you can find them at your local Sally's Beauty Supply and Ulta stores. Find out more information about OPI on their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.
